Not only was the menu and selection excellent, but the food quality was high. Our server was super-knowledgeable about the menu, and made some excellent recommendations that really enhanced the meal.

Ordered the sea bass special for $58 and the fish was very tough. The flavors were very good, but the fish was not tender.

The only complaints I have are that the fans were on top speed in the room on the right and we froze as they positioned us right under one. I was there for my birthday and they had that on the reservation. Hostess stand ladies were fantastic and friendly and wished me a happy birthday. There was someone else that had a birthday and they brought her out a birthday dessert and recognized her. I think it was even mentioned during talking with the server that it was my birthday but he just brought out the dessert menu and nothing was done. That was disappointing. Generally I love this restaurant and have been several times before. I never had any complaints previously. Also the owner came by our table earlier on and was fantastic.

We had Lobster Ravioli with scallops and Short Rib with shrimp. The meatball appetizer was delicious as well as dessert. Sabina was our wonderful server. We will be back!

I thought I was driving to Black Walnut Cafe for lunch and saw a new Italian restaurant DUA Trattoria. First off, the vibe and atmosphere is everything, such gorgeous interior decor. They also have $4 mimosas as lunch special. I ordered one of the best Calamari & Shrimp ever. It was a good portion and also inexpensive. The staff was so nice and friendly and Sabina was my server and provided great service. The manager was also kind enough to give me a tour of the private rooms they have for events. I’ll definitely be back!

We had a fantastic evening dining with friends at Dua Trattoria. From start to finish, the experience was top-notch.

Our server, Audi, did a wonderful job taking care of us—attentive, knowledgeable, and personable throughout the night. Nic, the owner, even stopped by our table several times with food, wine, and cocktail recommendations, which made the experience feel even more special. Every suggestion was spot on.

We kicked off the night with a couple of the signature “Nic” Old Fashioneds, an Espresso Martini, and a bottle of Quilt Cabernet. The cocktails were excellent—the Old Fashioned is a must-try for anyone who appreciates the classic, and the Espresso Martini stood out because they make it with real Espresso from a proper machine, which made all the difference.

For appetizers, we had the Breaded Ravioli and Bruschetta. Both were good, but the Breaded Ravioli was the star—perfectly crisp crust with just the right texture inside.

For mains, our table enjoyed the Lobster Ravioli, Short Rib Ravioli, Mario’s, and the Bone-In Veal Parmesan. Every dish was flavorful and beautifully prepared. The Veal Parmesan was especially memorable—generous in portion and cooked to perfection.

Between the outstanding service, warm atmosphere, thoughtful recommendations, and delicious food and drinks, Dua Trattoria has quickly become a new favorite. Highly recommend for a night out with friends, a date night, or anyone looking for elevated Italian dining in Frisco.

Lovely evening from start to finish celebrating my wife's birthday. Began with a warm welcome from Stacy, the maitre di, and continued with impeccable service from Sebina. Nate (who I think maybe the owner/manager) stopped by for a friendly check-in.
Everything was delicious; the bruschetta to start, followed by Chilean Sea Bass, and Veal Marsala accompanied by two delightful cocktails. The Mediterranean Margarita and a Hugo Spritz.
The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming.
