I waited some days to try this place after finding out that they’re from Mississippi I just knew it would be good! Well it was an EPIC fail. Food taste old, dry with no flavor!! Being from Tennessee I thought I had found something similar to home, very disappointing.

Came for breakfast, had to come back for lunch same day! Just in town for the weekend great spot for BBQ. Brisket and egg tacos were so delicious with that Mississippi Vinegar Sauce. Earnest and his staff were welcoming. I will be back! Hopefully I don’t run out of vinegar sauce before then!

For the price I paid for two people I was expecting a little more from the food. Brisket and ribs were good but the brisket mac & cheese was dry and the beans Tasted like they were from a can. For almost $70 for two people I expected more

I’m extremely disappointed today. I went online at Noon to order rib tips before leaving for my flight to return home and there were NO rib tips on the menu anywhere. I called a couple of times and left a message for a return call to confirm whether or not they had them, but never got an answer. The crazy part is that we ordered food, including tips on Saturday and it was delicious. There has to be a better way of communicating with this restaurant so that you don’t waste time driving over there when you are pressed for time, taking a gamble on whether they actually have what you want.

Came in with a group. I had a quesadilla with brisket that was phenomenal! Earnest came out and greeted the group. This place is something special.

Earnest B's was amazing. The food was seasoned to perfection. You didn't need any sauce which only made the food even better. Earnest was there at the restaurant and spoke with every table there. I definitely will be coming back to eat again.

Great staff, great atmosphere, great food. When the owner is onsite he greets and speaks to every customer. I have tried whole catfish, catfish filet, rib tips, peach cobbler, potato salad, baked beans, fried okra, brisket. ALL DELICIOUS!!!!!

My wife and I were traveling from out of town and had to get some authentic southern BBQ. I looked online and this was one of the most popular BBQ places in driving distance. We drove 45 minutes out of the way to go to Earnest Bs and it did not disappoint.
Before I get to the food, the service and staff were very helpful. It was clean and very welcoming.
Now the food. I am a big BBQ fan, so my standards were high. This place crushed my expectations and I loved every bite. I got a 2 meat plate and got a side of brisket mac. It was one of the best meals I have had anywhere.
Also, here is a picture of my empty plate. Its all gone. Not a single bite left. I ate it all.
The finishing touch was that Earnest, the owner, came around and talked to everyone and asked how they were doing and how was the food. He asked to take a photo with us because we were from quite a ways away.
Lastly, I dont leave Google Reviews. Im too lazy so this is a big deal. Take my word for it.

I would give Ernest B’s a 5 for both the food and wonderfully friendly staff. Unfortunately many people, my husband included, have an allergy/intolerance to High Fructose Corn Syrup. Because Ernest B’s sauces (even the ketchup) all had HFCS in them, he had to eat dry sausage. At least it was still yummy!
Ernest catered our event & the food was delicious! All our guests raved about it. The brisket was so tender! The chicken was moist and smokey. The signature sauces are soooo good. Looking forward to our next event with you Ernest!

I left 5 stars because 10 were not available. Everything was 10/10 from the service to the food. I sat and watched as owner came in and personal greeted every single patron. This is definitely must visit if you are anywhere near here.
