First time here, and they did not disappoint. I highly recommend this place. Catfish was amazing, as were the hush puppies. 😊 Can't wait to try the rest of the menu. And the service was warm, inviting, and great. Perfect decor and comfort.

We visited today (3/27/2025) and had one of the best culinary experiences ever. The barbecue ribs, fried catfish, green beans, coleslaw, and hush puppies were all delicious and cooked to perfection. The staff were welcoming and professional. The setting was very good!!!

There are two things that come to mind when I think of Earnest B's, family and amazing food. From the moment you walk into his restaurant you are treated as if you are walking into his personal home getting ready to sit down at the table for dinner. This restaurant is run by his family, and they are proud to continue on his legacy. If you are fortunate enough to be there while he is in attendance, which is most of the time, he personally makes sure to walk around and speak with everyone. You will also find him bussing tables, running food, and refilling drinks. He has become a pillar in the community, but remains a humble man. The food is a highlight in itself. Everything is made fresh, and even with the small wait times, trust me it's well worth it. The entire menu is fantastic, but my personal recommendation are the rib tips, fried catfish, and brisket quesadilla.

Everything was extremely good. From the dep fried wings to catfish and to the brisket meat. It was all good. Fresh to perfection…

After finding out the farmer's market was closed for the winter, we had to make our trip out to Frisco worth it so we found this place nearby and oh my goodness what a great find! Now we have our usual BBQ place but this definitely gave it a run for it's money and my boyfriend and I think that this might become our usual!

Everything is made to order so when you get your food, everything is hot, crispy and prepped just for you! But before we dive into the food, let's just talk about the incredible service we had. Every single person that works at this restaurant just makes you want to come back the next day with how friendly and inviting they were. We even met the owner who was serving food, wiping tables and greeting people with a giant smile when they walked through the door. He welcomed us to the family and we felt right at home!

Now, onto the food. I usually take better pictures than this but I was so eager to jump into eating so please excuse the mediocrity. When I tell you every single thing we ate was beyond our expectations, I am not exaggerating. None of the meat needed barbecue sauce (even though the bbq sauce is delicious!!) All cuts were seasoned so well! The ribs were moist and falling off the bone, the sausage had the right saltiness and bite, the brisket was moist, the catfish was fried to lovely crispiness with breading so perfectly seasoned, all the sides were enjoyed thoroughly and last but not least that was some of the best garlic toast I've ever had. At bbq restaurants it's usually just white bread either plain or barely toasted just tossed on there but that was really one of the highlights!

So happy to be a part of the fam, definitely one of the best bbq restaurants and experiences I've ever had!

Some of the best BBQ I have had. Everyone was super friendly and kind. A great atmosphere in general. And the brisket was so tender and juicy. If you are looking for good brisket or just BBQ in general you need to try this.

Food was great, the owner and staff were very nice, and the place was clean. My 8 month old daughter enjoyed the menu also. And did I mention the food was great!! Worth the drive to frisco and we will definitely be back.

Suuuuchhh good food!!! We came from ND and this BBQ was delicious!! My personal favorite was the roasted chicken, hush puppies and fried okra!! And not to mention Earnest was so kind and gave us great hospitality!

The food was delicious! The owner was magnificent! There was nine of us in our party and not a single complaint (And that never happens). The aroma outside from the smoker made my mouth water before I even got the food and I was not let down. We will back!!

Meet Mr. Earnest, who is a great guy, today about some business, but while I was there after we finished talking I decided to go ahead and have some of his barbecue. I had the brisket sandwich, and when I tell you that was some great brisket. I had to pull over from driving to take a short nap. Food so good it put me to sleep. And he really makes you feel like you’re at family barbecue. Greated everyone that walked in and not just greated but conversed with them. The food is great, the atmosphere is amazing and the people and customer service was phenomenal.
