I love their burritos and rice bowls with their vegan chorizo.
Understaffed, long wait time.
I went there this week to try it out, I felt very uncomfortable, there was no welcoming and the service was a bit slow although I was the only one in there, and it was a bit dirty and no one was cleaning after themselves, and they also forgot my chips. The only good thing was the guy working there was very respectful and kind

So, I tried to get this handled with the GM that’s there. The service lately at this restaurant has been awful. I give this place a lot of my business. Unfortunately, I will no longer be doing that. Atmosphere music is low which is normal, the line was dirty which is not sanitary and I do not see a lot of the employees changing out gloves. That is a health violation. I see a lot of the employees going from the line to immediately touching the cash register with the gloves still on. No trays are being used to carry the food, so touching other people’s food and carrying onto the gloves are not safe. I experienced a poor experience here just recently when the online promotion was going on with ALL Freebird salads, bowls, burritos are all $5.99. I placed an order the day of and needed to cancel. I called the location immediately and spoke with the GM. She stated she would cancel it and refund the money back to my account. That did not happen which I was charged twice now. I later on picked up an order in store which I witnessed a lot of health violations. The gentleman who took care of my order did not change gloves, nor was he using a tray. The line was dirty, and the Spanish that was given was stuck to the pan, burnt and was just thrown in. I tried to look past it, after getting to the end of the line ready to check out. The gentleman who was taking my order is the same gentleman who carried his dirty gloves to the cash register. Once he was ringing me up, I noticed that the promotions were not applied to my meals, I asked him why that was, he stated that it was only meant for “freebird burritos” when in doubt I had 2 free bird bowls with no extras. I showed him the promotion online that it was in store and online. He said, that’s not the case and that’s too bad. At that time there was a line. I did not have the patience to sit there while others were waiting to ask for a manger to let the manager know how rude/unprofessional this young man was. I sent in a report to corporate to try to handle this issue. I have not received an email back. I contacted the location today and spoke with the GM. She only assisted to offer me a free meal or a free bird card to use towards my next visit. Why would anyone who has had bad experience come back here? I will not be giving this place any more of my money or time. I will be posting my receipt as well to show that the deal was not applied

I was given a free burrito pass from one of the free birds corporate guys at work. So I went to go check it out I get a burrito every couple days at chipotle so I thought I’d give it a shot. Well I was greeted by one of the rudest employees I have ever met. Without a hi or hello he loudly shouted at me “NO DOGS THIS ISNT A PET STORE” meanwhile I do have my 7 week old puppy with me (only cause he can’t be left all on his own just yet) I said “oh sorry I didn’t even think about it” he then proceeded to grown, say “what is this guy thinking we sell food not dog food” and such he was just so rude the young girl working with him was actually nice about it other customers around me even thought it was weird. Maybe he was having a bad day or something all I know is I won’t be coming back especially after seeing Freebirds does allow dogs. Chipotle will continue to be my go to.

They make your food wrong no matter what when you order online! It’s insane. I’ve given them grace too many times and now I’m done. If you order a online order your food will be wrong 9 times outta 10. Also employees just sit around and lallygag while making wrong orders smh.
Finally, customer service does still exist! I went into my favorite freebirds and ordered my favorite nachos to discover, when I got back to work, the chips were super stale. I drove back and was immediately recognized. My nachos were remade very promptly, several apologies were made, and I even received extra queso and a brownie for my trouble. I wish I would have paid attention to the employee's name, because she was absolutely fanatic! Thank you for making my day better. ❤️❤️❤️

50 bucks for two burritos and queso go sit down at a restaurant... But burritos arnt bad dude just loaded my monster one w mostly rice and beans ran out of prime rib and charged me for two meats cus i wanted some steak in it since the prime rib was so low... I prob shouldnt have tipped but o well

Their were employee nails inside the damn burrito. It could had been intentional. It was disgusting. Mixed it up with the onions. Never recommending this spot again. Rice was stale. Beans weren’t fully cooked. I rather go to Crush Taco, way better burritos and a lot more sanitary. Disappointed with this experience and makes me think, how many times has this happened? It seems pretty intentional. Biting your nail and mixing it with the damn food? Shows you that they don’t care about the customers. I couldn’t believe of what I just went through. Nobody should spend their money on this garbage. If you do order, what I recommend is in- person. They can’t mess around while you’re watching them. Maybe, if you don’t tip them virtually, they might also pull some stunt like this. It could had been multiple reasons why this happened. But an accident? Nah, that’s disgraceful behavior. Childish.

Superb service! Super friendly and helpful. My burrito was stuffed, and good. Not great, but good. I recommend adding the queso for that finishing touch which made it way better. My wife liked hers just fine.

Not sure how a freshly made burrito can taste so cold. I arrived today to order a burrito and should’ve walked out when I saw how dry and cold the meat looked in the window. I feel like I ordered plenty of ingredients to add flavor to my burrito, but every single aspect of the items I ordered was terrible. I could’ve ordered 2 entrees at Chipotle for this price (around $21). Freebirds heyday was apparently back around 2010, because this is not it.

We always enjoy Freebirds. Great queso. Great burritos. Great bowls. It’s a constant debate in our house who makes the best burrito. Freebirds or that other chain. Having a Texas A&M Aggie in the house, she always votes Freebirds.

Love the staff, theyre super nice. Sometimes the white rice comes out crunchy and dry but after a year of coming here that only happened twice so far. Food being 3 star is just based on it being basically fast food. Id give chipotle or anything similar the same score there.
Looks like every other freebirds. Which its a chain so who cares.
Best part is the staff.
