I love the course. Very reasonable PLP membership. Great practice facilities. The PLP membership is extremely popular. It does create slow play from 2pm to sunset.
The new practice putting green is very large. Half of it is an 18-hole putting course. Also, five track man type devices have recently been installed on the right -side of the driving range. The staff is friendly and professional. The pro shop is connected to a restaurant and bar that overlook number 9 and 18 greens. Love you guys.
Ps. Due to the heavy play, bare areas on fairways are currently being replaced with new turf. Most likely will be ready for play in a couple months.

March 2025, called for tee time for a single senior, they replied they don't make reservations for Singles--but a whole lot of others courses do in the same area--pitiful!!

Great driving range! And good food at the Bar and Grill 😋 Good portions too.

Surprisingly fun to play. Have never been there. Greens just getting into shape. Great design and highly recommended. 30 mile an hour winds added to the adventure.

Course itself is really nice, pretty well maintained and if you book before 11 you get lunch and a beer included with your round. However due to them over booking tee times, you will rarely play a round under 5 hours here. Tee times are 4 minutes apart and there is just too many people on the course

I played at Frisco Lakes Golf Club this past Saturday and while the course itself was quite nice, my experience was significantly marred by an encounter with one of the marshals. The greens were in good condition but had inconsistent speeds which made putting a bit challenging.

However, the real issue came around the 8th hole. We had been waiting on every shot due to the group ahead of us, which was clearly slowing down the pace of play. At this point, we met Tom, the TAG marshal, who rather unpleasantly informed us that we were behind the pace. I responded by explaining that we were held up by the group in front, to which Tom was dismissive and disrespectful.

I've been playing golf for 24 years, maintain a 6.2 handicap, and can drive the ball about 300 yards, so I felt I didn't need a lecture on golf etiquette from him. After the round, I spoke to the manager about the incident. The manager was very accommodating and promised to address it with Tom, which was appreciated.

However, paying $120 for a round where I felt patronized by the course staff detracts from the value. The course is pleasant, but the enforcement by marshals felt more like a 'gestapo' than helpful oversight. There are plenty of other golf courses in the area that offer a similar experience for that price point without the hassle. I'm not sure I'd recommend Frisco Lakes or go out of my way to play there again due to this experience.

Nice course. My instructor works out of Frisco Lakes. The lesson area is phenomenonal, and the range is just thick and green. They have a full-size green on the left side of the range, so you can practice approach shots into the green. Their short game area is great, nice white sand bunkers.

Good course but had a very unpleasant experience with a marshall who was on my group about instruction (friend laid down a aim stick after my shot to show me where I was aimed) when there was no one even on the teebox of ANY hole waiting for us. I've never been treated so poorly by an overly aggressive marshall, this doesn't even happen at premium golf resorts. It was enough to not make me want to play Frisco Lakes again.

This course used to be my favorite course in all of DFW. It’s a shell of what it used to be, but it is still fun. I do not recommend paying Prime Time prices to play this course.

I am a resident to Frisco Lakes and they keep watering my patio and backyard from hole #2. I have called 3 times to get this corrected and asked for the supervisor's full name and phone number. The guy from the pro shop said I could get his full name and phone number if i come to the club and get his card. I was just a little upset. This is not a good way to manage your company.

Employees are helpful and kind. Greens are well kept. Green fees are a touch expensive.

9/20/24 10ish Tee-Time (Friday) ***Dont play here, if you value your time and sanity!***
Good: I will start with the course was in 4 out of 5 stars. Good Greens and fairways. Staff was very nice & amenities were good.
Bad: Tee times were stacked waaay to close. Tee boxes were backed up 1-2 groups on E V E R Y hole. When we got to 10, there was a group just walking up to the green, a group in the fairway waiting, a group waiting at the tee box and then us. 9 holes 2:40 minutes...Ridiculous!!! There wasn't a group causing all of this it just very poorly managed!!!! Profits over patrons!!! The goods will never outweigh those bads. We left after 9 and we will never play this course again.
