HaiDiLao Hot Pot Frisco

We were expecting having good and passionate services from Haidilao, but after this experience, I will never come back for another visit.

We walked in for the meat AYCE after 9pm. Whenever we got seated, our waiter came and threw us an IPad for ordering. We didn’t see the AYCE option from the online menu and was trying to ask. Our waiter never came to us until 10 mins later, and when we’re asking him, he shows an ironic laugh on his face without any explanation. The waiter looking at us like if we’re here for free meal, and kept giving us pressure when ordering.

The food was good, but starting from 3rd round of meat, there’re more fats than the actual meat on the beef slices. We have a group of 7 people visiting, and more than half of us got food poisoned after the meal.

If you’re coming for normal hotpot option, you might get a different waiter with better serving attitudes. I don’t think I’ll come back again.

Our server Nick was the absolute best! He was extremely attentive and made the ordering process easy, giving us great suggestions. The food was great- fast to come out, and delicious. We had a wonderful date night, and a fun experience altogether.

Amazing food. The restaurant was super clean, and the wait staff was unlike anything I’ve ever seen. They were fast, extremely friendly, and never more than a few quick steps away. We were well taken care of, to say the least. Not a place for a quiet date night. The atmosphere is very lively, active, and can be pretty loud, but it’s fun. We didn’t have a reservation, but it would be a good idea. This is a very popular place and it stays pretty full.

Wow. This place is INCREDIBLE.We just had dinner here and the entire staff was so sweet and helpful, but I have to give a huge shoutout to our waiter, Nick! He was so kind and went above and beyond to make our meal so easy! My fiance and I agreed that he is the best waiter we have ever had! Thank you Haid’lao and thank you Nick!

Completely unaware that the sauce bar was extra charge, barely used it. Wouldn’t have gotten to get sauce if me and my friend had known. The food was good though just wish they would clarify that with guests.

As always with Haidilao, the experience was exceptional from start to finish. The highlight today was the yellow curry soup — flavorful, rich, and absolutely delicious. But what truly made our visit special was our server, Jenny. She went above and beyond with her warm, attentive, and friendly service, making us feel so well taken care of. The staff here always maintain a high standard, but Jenny really stood out. The ambiance, quality of ingredients, and attention to detail keep us coming back, and today’s visit was another reminder of why we love Haidilao. Highly recommended!

From the moment you walk in, it’s a fantastic experience. We came on a Friday night as a party of 5 and despite not having a reservation (which I recommend doing because it gets busy) the hostess was able to seat us in about 15 min. While we waited we were given free tea and snack and the kids could play games. Once we were seated the waitress, Jenny, was very helpful. This was our first time trying Hot Pot, so we needed recommendations and help ordering. She was great. The dancing noodle server was great. I recommend this as a fun experience for the table. All the way around this was a great experience, and not too pricey for a large party.
