Great family owned restaurant! We have been eating here for years. I prefer the cubby grilled chicken sandwich. My husband likes the haystack grilled chicken salad. We share half/half which is half crispy fries and shoestring fried onions. We have eaten literally everything on the menu. You can’t go wrong with anything you choose. The staff is always friendly.

Great service. The manager was working the room to make sure food was making it to tables in a timely manner. Burger to bun ratio was good. The burger was flavorful. The burger was not cooked to the requested doneness and bun tasted as if it was recently thawed from the refrigerator. Beautiful presentaion. Obvious a local favorite place but our first impression of the place just didn't nail the landing. Will be willing to give it another try if we are in the area.

First experience at Haystack on Main Street in Frisco. Food (burgers and the 50/50 onion rings & fries) were delicious! Service was great. Noticed they have a large takeout business too. Will definitely be back and also order takeout!

Absolutely horrendous!
There comes a point where you want to sit back and just enjoy a burger with your friends, but this place blew that experience out of the water for today!
We had a large order- apps came out towards the end - burgers weren’t cooked right- wrong orders came out- timing of food wasn’t right- there was no recognition of mistakes on the servers end. They gave us cold food!
The food tasted off throughout!
But hey- know when you ask for fries, they’ll all be cold.

My family ordered three burgers and a 50/50 mix of onion show strings and fries. We were impressed with the speed in which the food order was ready. We ordered to-go and it was ready in about 10 minutes.
Food was delicious. My son ate more than half of his burger (which is good!)
My wife and I split each other's burgers and tried both. We ended up being full and had lunch for the next day.
I will be back.

They have construction going on that makes it hard to get there, but worth driving through residential area to eat. City of Dallas messed up when they gave no access route to a major business.
Good thing their burgers are so good it makes up for poor city planning. Try the escabeche burger! They make a killer Reuben sandwich too.
