This restaurant is now my go-to place for sushi in the West Frisco area. I used to live nearby, and I've tried a lot of the other sushi options in the neighborhood. None of them compare to Hikari Sushi! Believe me, it took a while to write this review (read: months) because I put this place through a rigorous vetting process. They deserve all 5 stars, and lots of referrals. Their call-in/take out service is top notch and their third-party app service (we've used GrubHub pickup and delivery here several times) was not only courteous but accurate and well packed. My last experience, I chose to dine-in and I was blown away by the quality of food (i.e. freshness) and hospitality. Service was great, the vibe inside is nice and relaxed. There's soft pop/lofi music playing that's in-offensive and not too loud, so you can carry a conversation or even read a book while dining. I'll definitely be back to bring friends and family because I trust that they can consistently deliver. They have a little bit of everything to suit all palettes which is what matters the most. First timers here, the sushi was very POOR. The hot mess, sashimi roll and ninja roll were not fresh, sashimi and hot mess were very fishy tatsing and smelling. The tuna is minced which typically means its not real. These rollzar3 $17-$18 each so it not being real is a huge no go for me. Not what any After informing the server of the issue the result was, "ok". No apology no manager coming to the table. The servers are kind the bathrooms smell stinky and the parking was fair. Definitely confused how this place is a solid 4.2 in over 750 reviews. It's by the FC field so I'm sure it's the drunks giving drunk reviews.

Got to go roll with miso soup . The rolls did not taste fresh at all and no flavor in their food . The fish on top of the rolls seem and tasted mushy didn't even finish . Thank god I didn't get more food .

It’s a good place that’s kind of tucked away next to the freeway. Restaurant is clean and spacious. They have a lot of fun and creative rolls / maki so would suggest ordering some of that. I ordered grub hub delivery of teriyaki beef, shrimp and veggie tempura and Miso soup. The tempura was nice and crispy, even after delivery. Needed a bigger container of sauce The teriyaki looked delicious but had zero Flavor. So disappointed. The serving of rice was good size and decent rice.

The service was awful. Went there for sushi, had to ask for soya sauce then had to ask for Wasabi and ginger. The place was empty even then the staff wasn’t listening. Their attitude was so rude and mean. The sushi itself was below average, Walmart does better sushi than them. Really disappointed and felt like a waste of money and energy.
