I rarely leave reviews but after reading some of lowest reviews I felt inclined to leave one as I feel they are completely wrong.

First I want to start by saying this is not a sushi place you get once a week unless you have the money to do so. I say this because I’ve seen lower reviews complaining about price. That being said the price is fair due to the fact that the fish is flown in from Japan. I don’t think people understand the food safety regulations and other expenses that go into shipping raw fish that far while making sure the fish’s quality is not changed.

As for my dinner, the food was amazing. I lived in Southern California most of my life and have tried very good sushi restaurants, I’m very picky with my fish. Kinzo hands down has become my favorite restaurant for sushi in terms of quality. I generally do not eat sashimi as many restaurants even very good ones struggle not making the fish chewy. At Kinzo you will receive tender well textured sashimi. It was the best I’ve ever had. You can tell the restaurant cares about the quality not only in their food but also in their skills with the preparation of the fish.

To give a completely fair review there was moments where we had to wait too long in my opinion. The server did apologize and we appreciated that so it didn’t bother us too much but hopefully this is not consistently an issue or I could see how that would lower the overall experience.

Overall I highly recommend Kinzo if you want good quality fish and you’re willing to pay for that. It’s a bit silly to get mad at prices when the menu is available online for you to see before with clear prices.

Thank you Kinzo.

This is genuinely one of the best sushi I've had in quite a while. There's nothing to complain about. The fish were fresh, prepared expertly, good presentation, just on point. It is definitely on the pricier side but for a splurge every once in a while, I'd highly recommend. Great service, as the wait staff were knowledgeable enough on the menu and took care of all needs, including set up and clearing table promptly.

Had a great time here! Food was good and the chef was very meticulous. The only thing I think I would've liked would be to have the soup and hand roll before the nigiri course, but I'm really just nitpicking at that point lol.

We did the lunch sampler and it was wonderful, head chef Jin explain to us what was given and where it's origin is. Our waitress we didn't catch her name but she was sweet and made sure we had everything we need. Would come back again.

This is by far the best sushi I've ever had! We had the lunch tasting and added some extra à la carte items, which the staff helped us select. I'm already making plans to go back for their full omakase experience.

Stopped by for our anniversary dinner and can’t say enough good things. The mini omakase was delicious and the service was immaculate. The maki rolls are hugeeeee and definitely worth the price. Overall amazing experience and already planning on returning!

This is not your everyday sushi folks. That said, it's some of the best I've ever had in TX or anywhere else. The oysters were incredible too.

What an amazing food experience this place is. If you are looking for plain California rolls Kinzo is not it, it's much more! All the food was full of flavor and unique. Iris really helped us navigate our first time and recommended some amazing dishes and drinks.

Had the absolute PLEASURE of being able to enjoy Kinzo for the first time this evening. From the second I walked in the amazing service began. I ordered the Mini Omaske because I really couldn’t decide. Figured I could get a taste of the full experience and it blew me away; every dish melted in my mouth. I’m sitting here writing this and still thinking about how delicious everything was. Although extremely satisfied after the Mini Omasake, I couldn’t help myself from ordering another few items a-la-carte; I just wanted to taste everything. Phenomenal all around, with an emphasis on the food. I will be back.

Kinzo Sushi is hands down the best sushi spot in all of DFW — no contest. The quality, presentation, and flavor are consistently next level. We’ve tried sushi all over the metroplex, and nothing comes close to what Chef Leo creates. Not only is the food absolutely amazing, but the entire experience is elevated by the warm, welcoming vibe. Chef Leo makes you feel like family, and the staff is always friendly, attentive, and on point. We are OBSESSED with Kinzo — it’s our go-to spot, and every visit just confirms why we love it so much. 10/10 every time.

Smaller location with fresh fish. Omakase experience with reservations (full 18 course or mini selection). Service was good and fish plated well. Hamachi kama was a bit over done. If you do a roll option 4 of 6 rolls had guacamole on them, not a fan as it takes away from the fish too much. Pricing was on par with higher end sushi spot.

One of best sushi places I’ve had.

Everything was just very good. Highly recommended. And will return again soon.
