This has always been a great restaurant and a favorite for family gatherings and birthdays. We really enjoy their food and if you’re deciding to go or not, my answer would definitely be yes! We’ve been going every year since they opened until Covid hit, and the staff are always so friendly!???We haven’t been there for a few years and decided to go recently. The place has a pretty clean and cozy atmosphere and the show was still as spectacular as before! I heard from friend about how the bathroom smelled but that was not the case for us. Both me and my husband went and there was no smell at all. I mean the only thing I could smell was cleaning detergents, so they must have cleaned the bathrooms recently or did something about it?♀️

Their food is really good and we always get the filet mignon and scallop combo. Extremely recommend it ? What surprised us the most was the bathrooms, they must have replaced some old stuff and did something to the drains cause the smell that they used to have was completely gone! I could tell that they read the reviews and tried to fix it and you can really smell the difference.To those who liked the food but didn’t feel like returning because of the bathroom, I definitely recommend giving them another chance! They deserve it! I love the food ❤️ and I’m so glad they are trying to improve.

Restaurant was able to accommodate about an 18 person group at two tables with two chefs with reservations. Chef's did a good job for the larger group. I called prior and they said they could make anything gluten-free so my negatives are listed below. One of my negatives is they chose convenience and made my gluten-free entree in the back without even telling me they were going to do that. So I felt excluded from the hibachi experience that I came for. I've gone to other places where they make my order first or on the side and then continue with the rest of the group. The dinner entree comes with soup and salad. They did not have a gluten-free soup and they did not replace it with an additional salad. The salad is served with no dressing since it has gluten. Eating just LETTUCE salad. Since I called prior, it would of been great if they told me these things when I called to check beforehand. So those things were very disappointing. They can improve on service. I know we had a large group but the waiter never checked in to see if we needed more beverages or anything so had to go looking for someone for help.

We bought the $109 combo to split between 2 people. It was the same thing as the people getting the $20 combo plates next to us. Really felt like a rip off. Also they need to add salt or something, the food here was unflavored. Much better options available around the Frisco area.
My family and I love Kobe! It is the best hibachi we have had in the area. Excellent service and great food.
