Very disappointing Black Forest cake. Dry and no dark cherries, cherry layer, or cherry liqueur. After some back and forth, we were told that “some people prefer less” and they completely ignored the lack of cherries. Was given store credit after returning the rest of the cake, which is appreciated as there is no refunds.
La Crème Bakery Café is such a lovely find. The Black Forest cake we purchased was incredibly fresh and beautifully made, and the colorful macarons were delicate and delicious. The flavors brought back such nostalgic memories for me. The owner was warm and welcoming, and the whole experience felt thoughtful and inviting. We’ll definitely be returning.
