The best tacos in Frisco. This place has been a staple of our community since before we had 20 million schools and a million places to eat.

for somebody who grew up in California, been looking for this kind of family-owned Mexican restaurant… Don’t come looking for Tex Mex, but if you like California style Mexican food, this is the place.

As a Hispanic used to good tacos, this place just wasn’t it. I had my hopes high from the reviews but the carne asada tacos were bad the meat didn’t look seasoned or nothing it was grey and the barbacoa was okay and same for carnitas

Great food. Authentic Mexican. But for the life of me, i never understood why they chose a location that is mostly only outside seating in North Texas. That is the reason we don't go very often. The weather . Either an oven or a freezer or hail or a tornado....and they pretty much only have outside seating. If they had inside seating.....I bet their business would double.

The type of local spot you only tell those closest to you, you share like a secret, that feeling when you wanna keep something selfishly private because you love the cheap food and short wait times. Marianas always hits and is a default for when I'm on this side of town, craving something filling but not uncomfortably full, that won't break the bank, but guarenteed high quality and delicious.

First time at Marianas, we loved it. Three carne asada tacos for $8, and they were big. Also had a carne asada quesadilla, also delicious. There is seating inside but it's limited but they have fans for sitting outside. We will be back for more!

We cater this place for work from time to time since the burritos are massive and we feed about 20 people. Every-time we order, the food is fresh & flavorful.

I recently visited the actual restaurant with my boyfriend for a late lunch and it was SO cute. Loved the atmosphere, the little desserts and pastries inside & the tables outside. I hope this place stays thriving and busy. They’re tasty & have great customer service.

Best taco place in Frisco area. Also, one of the last places around you can get a full meal with a drink and come out less than $10. The carne is very good, very flavorful. Could be too salty for some, but this is Texas there’s no such thing as over seasoning. Same goes for the Chicken Flautas or ā€œRolled Tacosā€ extremely flavorful and served as a bigger portion.

The guy working the register is very nice too. Seating is mostly outside only or to go, so food comes out fast. This is the only place I’d recommend for Tacos!

This place was good overall, but not as authentic as it used to be. I remember coming here as a child when it was at its first location on Pecan St - great memories with my dad rolling sticky, handmade corn tortillas and dipping them in menudo. I came home for a visit today craving that (I live out of state now) and was disappointed to find the tortillas aren’t homemade anymore, they look like Mission. Somehow they have better ones in Buffalo! And the rice and beans tasted good, but it was a very small amount for the extra $3 for a combo plate. But 4 stars because the meat was still very flavorful and moist, good menudo, and GREAT horchata.

Good food, but could be more authentic.
It’s hard to find truly authentic Mexican restaurants in Frisco, and this place comes close. The flavors are really good, but I wish the chilaquiles were made with fresh tortilla chips—store-bought ones get soggy quickly with the sauce. The kids’ burrito had great flavor but was a bit too runny because of the beans. Overall, it leans more towards Tex-Mex vibes. I’ll definitely be going back to try their tacos and explore more of the menu.
