Lamb and beef Barbacoa are both fantastic. The Asada tacos are my go to. Staff is really friendly and the restaurant is always super clean.

The barbacoa tacos are some of the best you will find north of I30. The staff is always super friendly and always gives a few more green sauces than you think you'll need - just in case, of course. The shop is always clean and the service is always fast.

Great food. Had the grilled shrimp taco! Best tacos I’ve had!

They've opened back up again. They're doing takeout or guy nin but with social distancing. Came here for the first time had the breakfast tacos huevos a La Mexicana chorizo and potatoes and egg I would have taken a picture but I ate them to fast they were delicious just like my grandma used to make. Then they had arroz con leche so good I could eat four of these. Definitely bringing the whole family back glad I found this hole in the wall.

Amazingly authentic Mexican. Best I've had since actually being in Mexico.

My daughter brought me a Mother's Day feast from Mezcal today!! She brought Picadillo (ground beef) tacos, Carne Assad tacos and Barbacoa tacos. She also a side dish with corn and poblanos. All the food was delicious. She also brought us Mexican cokes which were great. I would definitely go here to eat again.

Tender moist meat. Friendly staff. Great prices. The Carnitas and Barbacoa tacos are to die for. We were shocked at how tender, juicy and flavorful the meat is. Will be going back!

Great new little Mexican counter serve restaurant in Frisco. You guys should try it if you are near Frisco Texas. Will work with any dietary restrictions. Can work with vegans, celiac’s, dairy allergy, and others. The owner is super nice. Guacamole will be made fresh every time.

Food was good and tasted fresh. The guacamole was definitely on point. It was fresh and chunky, not that "whipped" mess that comes out of a bag! They brought me a couple of different hot sauces to try with my tacos. Both were very flavorful. I'll be going back sometime to try new stuff.

Nice, friendly, authentic taco shop. Family run, with a family feel. A good value.

I wanted to try out this place cause I saw it close to work. The experience was far from good. I walked in and the guy didn't really greet us. I ordered some chips and salsa and he informed me that they were out of salsa. How a Mexican restaurant is out of salsa is beyond me. Then when i went to get my drink, they were out of 2 of the sodas. Then, we got the food. The rice I ordered was cold, the tortillas were cold. The tacos were super greasy, and honestly just not good tasting. Super unfortunate. I probably won't be back nor will I recommend this place to anyone.

There's nothing worse than paying over $18 for two people to have dinner, and still leaving hungry. The meals are way overpriced for the small portions! I ordered the three chicken tacos with rice and beans. There was barely any meat on my taco and the rice and beans looked like portions meant for an infant. This was a super disappointing experience. Will not return.

Excellent tacos. Mezcal has a wide variety of authentic, home made, delicious tacos. It’s family owned and the staff are super friendly. It’s a nice and cozy place. I highly recommend the taco al pastor and horchata. Please check this place out, you won’t regret it!
