My experience at this Indian restaurant was far from enjoyable. The Biryani was disappointingly greasy, and the chicken tikka masala had an unappetizing dark color, signaling low quality. To add to the frustration, they charged separately for rice, a practice that felt quite unreasonable. The atmosphere was consistently empty and, frankly, depressing. Not a place I would recommend for anyone seeking a satisfying Indian dining experience. We used to come here before but now it lost the quality and is overpriced.

We took to go order from this place. Food quality and taste were below average. Not at all worth the price. Not recommended.

This was my first experience at the restaurant and I did not feel welcome.as a black person. Even though the place was empty, the young men at the counter were neither patient nor friendly. They were condescending when I asked about dishes on the menu and what they did best. They also took an Indian gentleman’s order ahead of mine and cooked his food first even though he interrupted my very simple order of chicken and naan. I got my order 10 minutes after that gentleman left and realized that you should never eat the food of those who disrespect you.

The service from Dinesh and Monica was great!I had a lot of questions since I had dined in the Cayman islands and wanted to learn more about the type of food I liked. They were very patient and helpful. The food was excellent I ordered the shrimp Tondoori but I have to say that the owner whom I have not met seems very rigid as their was no flexibilty to create a smaller portion as an appetizer since I am solo.I also suggest they tell you on their site you can bring your own beverages BYOB so I called since I had heard that from a previous customer. The problem is why did the owner not give any thought to the fact that a guest would bring a nice bottle of wine and then have it served in a water glass and a makeshift plastic bucket with ice...very tacky. They have three restaurants for goodness sakes think about the customernot just about making money.I would have given it 5 stars for service but the fact that they would not accommodate or the chef was not flexible he was most interested in selling the entire bag of shrimp they buy...that is not my problem. The food was good but I also ordered the Shrimp masala and frankly it would have been nice to know there was enough shrimp in the dish although small in size so I did not need to spend another $30. The prices are high for the small amount of food. The rice and peas were cold and the place was empty. It is sad to think in the Cayman Islands the most expensive place in the world, Southern Spice restaurant could serve the same thing, better with larger portions with high end service, more ambience and proper glass ware.I know this is not your flagship but just alittle more attention to what makes the customer happy since we are paying or over paying for a lack of flexibility would be nice. Most people would never tell you how to improve your business they just would not come back.I will be back now that I have learned my lesson on what to order.Just because there are so few Indian restaurants and no competition please don't gouge people in Frisco who just want a nice evening out unless you raise the bar and provide a higher level experience.

Mughlai is a gem hiding in plane site. The menu offers a great variety of light meals, as well as full-plated entrés. The appetizers provide a great way to introduce one to the quality of the anticipated main courses. The presentation is simple but elegant. And the portions are more than adequate. The food prep is "clean" and inviting! ?

Food is subpar, nans are soft and saggy. Curries are mediocre. Biryani is just a mix of rice and some curry. Over all it’s little below disaster. Just two students standing watching their phones and this place is called fine dine.
