Just a pleasant surprise. Visiting my sick daughter and did not feel like cooking. Using OpenTable I checked available seating in the area. Parking was not the most convenient, I parked on the street a couple of blocks away. Started the meal with crispy asparagus, which was outstanding, as was the server. My daughter's chemo and other meds made her indecisive and even difficult to follow her thought pattern. once we ordered the food presentation was good. Pretty plate was...
Service was excellent overall. The food was hit or miss. The chicken sandwich and burger were both very good, and the fried asparagus really stood out. On the downside, the French fries were overcooked and almost burnt, the meatballs were dry and tough to cut, and the grilled chicken was small and forgettable.
The service was wonderful and fast. Everyone was on top of making us feel so special. Not our first time to eat here and won't be our last. This is not your typical hotel restaurant!
