Service was great sitting in the bar area. But, the air conditioning blowing straight on me wasn't exactly enjoyable. It was 43 degrees outside. Really? I wanted a warm meal and a warm place to dine. 😉
My salad and pasta was good. The breadsticks were overcooked/tough. Maybe that's a sign I shouldn't be eating comfort food.

Had dinner with my family last night and, like always, the food was great. Something different happened though; it was nice to see the staff supporting a waitress who dropped a tray of glasses and was really shaken up.

What wasn’t cool was seeing the blonde manager laughing about it with another server. Really unprofessional.

I hope they keep hiring more people like the ones who stepped in to help, because that’s the kind of team that helps a place grow. They don’t need employees who make fun of their coworkers’ mistakes.

Other than that, the food and the vibe were on point. Good job, Olive Garden

We had a great experience at this Olive Garden. The food was good and the service really set it apart. Our server, Lauren, was helpful on menus choices, very attentive (she must had refilled our salad twice proactively). Thanks for the great dinner for the family.

This place continuously messes things up, to the point of finding hair in my food but love to ask for a tip. Blows my mind.

As a kid, I was a fan of Olive Garden and my kids requested to go tonight. Upon arrival, as a party of four, we were told to sit in the bar area. It is a Tuesday night. When I expressed that we needed a table, the male host, looking as clueless and incapable of assessing the situation, finally seated us. As we walked through the dining area, I saw at least 5-6 open tables for seating. He seats us in the most busy area towards the back. We sat for 10 minutes without a single greeting or offer for water. We saw a waitress (young blonde) walk through our very condensed dining section, and she never said anything to us. It didn’t look like a waitstaff would be acknowledging us anytime soon so we got up and left.

On our way out, we saw the host and he looked surprised. He asked why we were leaving and when I told him, he looked surprised. There in lies the problem. He shouldn’t have been surprised given the circumstances. Instead, it shows the lack of standards and training the staff at this restaurant exhibits. It’s sad to see.

We drove 4 minutes away to Verona, another Italian restaurant. We were seated upon arrival immediately and we were served water within the first 5 minutes of being seated. Take notes, Olive Garden of Frisco.

Shrimp scampi, more like shrimp scammy– Not Worth $21

I ordered the shrimp scampi for $21, and honestly, I regret it. The portion was filled with tiny shrimp that tasted like they came straight from a frozen bag, and there was barely enough sauce to coat the pasta. For the price, I expected fresh, plump shrimp and a flavorful, restaurant-quality sauce. Instead, it felt like something I could whip up at home with store-bought scampi sauce and a box of angel hair pasta—for a fraction of the cost.

Save your money and make it yourself. Not worth the price or the calories.
