On August 6, 2025, between 1:00 PM and 2:30 PM, my family and I experienced an extremely unprofessional and upsetting incident at Panda Express in the mall.

My husband was in line with our 3-year-old son and initially ordered a cub meal. Our son quickly changed his mind, so my husband requested to modify the order—which, as paying customers, we have always been able to do in the past. At the register, the sever Xiaojie T charged more than expected. My husband politely mentioned that under similar circumstances in the past, we had been charged the price of a regular plate.

Rather than calmly explaining the policy, the manager became argumentative. When my husband said, “Why are you arguing with a customer? Don’t be an asshole,” the manager shockingly replied, “You’re the asshole with that face.” I was standing nearby and heard this exchange clearly. Such language and behavior from a manager—especially in front of families and children—is absolutely unacceptable.

Later, when my husband went to get a straw, the manager gave him a dirty look. My husband jokingly pretended to take a picture, and the manager escalated the situation further by calling mall security. When security arrived, the manager again tried to argue about the order. I had to intervene to end the exchange, and security acknowledged the matter was over.

This entire interaction was unpleasant and deeply disappointing. A manager’s role should be to de-escalate and resolve customer concerns respectfully, not insult customers or create unnecessary conflict. Such conduct reflects poorly on both the restaurant and the mall.

I hope this matter is investigated and addressed promptly to ensure no other families have a similar experience.

I felt really bad about the experience with this service. My mom and I went to order food like we usually do. When it was time to pay, a server Xiaojie T . He rang up our order. I was planning to pay with my card. When I was about to pay, I saw an American Express card—I didn’t know and was trying to take the card out to pay, but I noticed the payment had already gone through.

He said the payment was done, but I told him that I hadn’t paid yet and that it wasn’t my card. He yelled and He told me not to touch the card again. I explained multiple times that I didn’t touch it—I just wanted to pay with my card. But he kept saying, “Don’t touch the card anymore.”

I think the person like him do not do any customer service and do not need to abuse kid- i am 13 years old.
He makes me crying because of his attitude. I come with my family and I want to enjoy my day, but he destroyed it.

Went in to get broccoli beef and fried rice bowl, the guy serving the food was super rude. He gave so little broccoli beef that I asked him if he can add more, he looked at it and didnt want to add it. He looked like he was already in a bad mood along with another lady as well. Plus what he gave me wasnt broccoli beef, it was something else.
