Really good food. Everything tasted fresh and full of flavor. The portions were solid, and the food came out hot and well made. Definitely better than your average takeout spot. I’d for sure come back when I’m craving something tasty and quick.

We ordered online for pick up due to that cold weather but the food was great. We are Pei Wei in El Paso where we are from and it tasted the same so it brought back some memories.

I had never heard of Pei Wei when I moved to Denton County Texas. My friend took me on our lunch hour back in 2006. For $8 I got the size of what KFC now puts their side dishes in but 3/4 was filled with rice. I MEAN LOOK AT THE PHOTOS on the results page!!! At other restaurants the plate is filled with the Entree and Rice is on the side. These photos show nothing but rice and a little bit of the main meal!!! THAT'S RIDICULOUS...sure its pretty but I'm not paying for pretty!!! It was 6pcs of Sesame Chicken and ALL RICE for 8 BUCKS! I never went back and found Yum Bistro where portions were HUGE, enough for 2 meals for $9-$11!! That was 2006. Moved north but still in Denton County and have a few choices that still doubled Pei Wei portions 15yrs later STILL UNDER $12!!! Now we have Fortune Star and ALMOST Every Entree is $11.99-$13 for HUGE PORTIONS!! Dinner portion Fried Rice is $9.99, unless pork or chicken at $10.99 and Beef, Shrimp or combo is $11.60...Only mixed seafood is $12.99...Nothing but all Shrimp Entrees and Specials hit UP TO $14.49...Thai dishes are $11.99 or $2 extra for Beef or Shrimp. These are 2 meal portions AS ALL CHINESE ENTREES SHOULD BE!! Even their lunch portions are STILL $9.99!! After living in 8 cities and 4 major states, above and below the Mason Dixon line, Pei Wei believes it's still 2005 for portion sizes and still sells as if we're still in the pandemic. Yes the tariffs are rough but I've not seen any huge changes in any other full service mom and pop Chinese Restaurants. They have overhead and tariff issues and still put out what we expect, portion and price wise! ROBERT IRVINE TAUGHT US COST, PRICE POINT AND PROFIT CALCULATIONS ON DINNER IMPOSSIBLE, I PAID ATTENTION!!! Pei Wei prices belong in California and NYC...Not podunk (expression not insult) residential towns like Prosper, Little Elm/Frisco (not Frisco near Plano), Lewisville, etc!! Not even Upstate NY where my extended family lives pays these prices at Chinese/Thai restaurants!!!

Love Pei Wei! So happy you opened one near WSR. I had a problem with the rewards program and Peyton, the shift leader, fixed the issue quickly! Pei Wei was so pristine clean and service was amazingly fast!!
