If you are looking for authentic Greek Food in the DFW area, Platia Greek Kouzina is the place to go. We have been eating there for longer than a decade. We love their octopus, saganaki (cheese on fire), dips, souvlaki, baked chicken, brizola steak, green beans, Greek baked potatoes, and all the desserts. The staff is friendly and fast! I moved here from NY. I had a lot of Greek friends. I went to dinner with them and ate at there homes. I was a little disappointed in the Greek restaurants here in Dallas. Then I found Platia. The food is very authentic. The service was above and beyond. I recommend it highly. Try it... You will like it.
A bit of a wait, but totally worth it. Staff was friendly, food didn't take long, and everything tasted fresh. The restaurant is BYOB for a small cork fee, make sure to take advantage of that. We didn't have dessert, but we'll definitely be back to try that baklava that looked amazing.
