We stopped into the Ryder Cup Grille at the PGA District in Frisco after exploring the area, and overall had a great experience. It took a little while to get seated, and service was definitely on the slower side, seemed like they might’ve been short-staffed that day. That said, the food absolutely delivered. We ordered the roasted tomatillo guacamole and fish tacos, and both were outstanding. To drink, a mimosa. It also was spot on, refreshing and well-balanced. Also a Diet...
The service was AWFUL. The restaurant was practically empty yet everything took FOREVER. Steaks were over cooked and flavorless and the chili was all grease and inedible. Much better options for the price. The atmosphere was nice though and the spinach artichoke dip with the lump crab was good. Those are really the only highlights.
I really enjoyed the view of the last hole coming into the clubhouse. The food was excellent. They may have been a little understaffed as I waited for a long time to get a glass of orange juice after the bar ran out and my friend never received a water refill. Other than that the whole experience was awesome! Very cosy atmosphere.
