I had planned to go to my Vegan Thai spot and noticed Shawarma Press next door. Stopped in just to see what they had on the menu. I ended up getting the falafel shawarma…it was soooooo good! I will definitely be back! I ate every bite 😝

The shawarma was EXTREMELY dry and overly salty. It’s overpriced for no reason. It definitely didn’t taste authentic, it was more of a desi twist than true Middle Eastern flavor. I’m not sure who owns this place, but it’s clear it’s not Arab owned. If you’re Middle Eastern or looking for real shawarma, THIS IS NOT THE SPOT FOR YOU. They do NOT serve authentic shawarma.

I recently tried this shawarma spot and was genuinely impressed! The meat was juicy and well-seasoned, wrapped in warm, fresh pita with just the right balance of sauces and veggies. Everything tasted fresh, and the flavors blended perfectly—especially the garlic sauce, which added an extra kick. The portion sizes were generous, and the staff was friendly and quick with service. Definitely one of the better shawarma places I’ve been to, and I’ll be coming back for sure!

Worst customer service ever. Waited over 20 min for 2 combos. Everyone in the lobby got food before us. My wife got a chicken shawarma, not even half way through her food, NO CHICKEN. She thought the chicken was further down only to realize they gave her a hummus wrap. LITERALLY JUST HUMMUS. She explained she ordered the Chicken wrap. The worker acted dumb saying Well you pointed at the Hummus Wrap. Then saying well yuu already ate Half. She literally had two small bites. NO REMAKE, NO REFUND, NO APOLOGY. A Family walked in to order, and she just brushed my wife aside Acting like she was not even there.
THIS IS ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. I WILL BE CONTACTING CORPORATE AND THE OWNER.
DO YOUR SELF THE FAVOR AND SPEND YOUR MONEY SOME WHERE ELSE!!!!

The owner has replied to my review. And has responded with nothing but lies, dismissing everying I have said to sheild his own and staff's image. All my wife asked for was for her wrap to be remade or add some chicken. From this he has accussed us of nothing but lies and disgusting words. The Owner is a very stingy and money hungry man. Do your self a favor and take your money somewhere else!

I waited 20 minutes just to get the wrong order. The lady said you pointed at hummus salad sandwich i said my hand was there, but I told you I wanted chicken shawerma, she refused to give me chicken shawerma, I specifically said chicken shawerma, but my finger was on the menu. how can you correct a customer, when im saying the truth.

I had a great experience at Shawarma Press - Frisco! I tried the chicken shawarma and chicken over rice, and both were absolutely delicious — full of flavor, fresh, and satisfying.

A special shoutout to Su, who was wonderful and super helpful in guiding us through the menu and helping us order the best options. Her friendly attitude made the visit even better.

Highly recommend this place if you’re craving authentic and tasty Mediterranean food!
