I pulled up to the drive-thru and was told “one moment.” That moment turned into 10 minutes, so I gently said “hello” and was then asked what I wanted. Cool. I ordered, moved up, and waited 15 minutes to pay, followed by another 15 minutes to receive my drink. At that point I wasn’t sure if I was in a drive-thru or filming a documentary. Why did I stay? Character development. For the plot. No smoothie should take this long unless there’s a hostage situation. The smoothie was good, but the journey was… unforgettable. Management should be ashamed. You have 2 people working on a Saturday, support your staff.
