Update* It seems they responded that there's a sign up rewards programs but when I visited every time, they told me that either they didn't have one, and it was only in this location where they said it was in the works. Not sure if it is new but when I purchased a nitro, as a past customer who inquired about it, they did not recommend it at the McKinney location.
This is a late review but I think the coffee is okay. The staff can vary, but often times they are nice.
I've tried different drinks but during my last visit I tried the summer moon matcha but it's not well balanced. The creamer overpowered the matcha, making the matcha taste non-existent despite it was recommended by some of the reviewers.
There's some fans of summer moon coffee , and that's ok but I think it's a little pricey for the portion without a reward system. I've tried the nitro version and it was still just okay.
But this is still the best location of Summer Moon compared to the others, the staff are courteous and respectful most of the time. Only one exception but it was busy so I can understand.

The best coffee in all of DFW! Everyone who works here is always incredibly sweet and friendly, and my mocha is consistently excellent. The atmosphere is perfect and is my favorite place to study or get some work done when itâs crunch time. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a new place to frequent as theyâll remember you and make sure youâre happy!
Iâd recommend their Mocha Moon (quarter moon is my go to) and one of their jalapeño bacon bagel bombs if youâre wanting a pastry.
And if Main Street construction is still going on, then itâs without a doubt worth the little extra walk :)

Ordered one iced coffee and one oat milk latte and it took over 10 minutes to get. They were moderately busy but it wasn't a rush. They seemed underestimated staffed or just unorganized. Though they were all very nice though.
Hard to help #savemain when the business turns us away in a not so polite manner. We didnât realize that Summer Moonâs two locations in Frisco have different hours of operation, Iâm assuming due to the construction on Main that location is closing early daily due to lack of business. When I googled Summer Moon (yesterday 10/22), it pulled up the location off Legacy because we were actually closer to that location! Itâs 100% on me for assuming both locations had the same hours!!
My husband and I decided to brave Main Street to give our support. We walked in as two ladies were leaving roughly 4pm (closing time), we stood by the register for just a moment (not greeted by the young man behind the coffee counter) but by young girl who came walking out from the back who could have approached us with a different tone and wording. She had no clue if we had been standing there for a few seconds or long enough that the business was still âopenâ thatâs how close to 4pm we managed to make it. Her demeanor and âweâre closed the doors are only open because we need people to leaveâ was a bit harsh and unprofessional. I looked at my husband and we just walked out. I wasnât expecting to be served, itâs closing time but please train your staff on how to handle this situation better in the future. For us we took our business to the Book Shoppe.
We love Summer Moon coffee and will visit other locations, but wonât be returning to the Main Street location until the construction is done. A 4 block walk in heals for that kind of interaction is not worth the trouble.

Great local coffee shop. Been here for a while but had never did a review. So here you go.
Friendly staffs and they have a variety selection of food and pastries. My ultimate favorite is their Almond Croissant. Had to get one to go as well. If you didnât want anything other than coffee, I saw get one of the Almond Croissant.
Their moon milk is awesome either hot or cold. I have enjoyed them both in hot and cold.
The location is on Main St but currently Main St is under construction in 2025. You might have to park and walk a little but itâs worth it and worth supporting local businesses along the Main St.
There are tables for 2 you can join if you have larger party. Also outlet available if you are working on your laptop and needed to charge.
Great spot to hang out and catch with friends.
