I've been to Aussie Grind a few times and have always loved it, but unfortunately it has been one bad experience after another lately.
We have had a few hit or miss experiences lately with the food not being warm or seasoned, but we keep trying because when it's good, it's awesome. Unfortunately though I am calling it quits now.
We went in for lunch and I ordered the fish and chips. I've had this a few times and the fish is always well seasoned and crisp, and the fries are normally my favorite because they have a great flavor and texture. When we got the food, we could tell the fish was pale and soggy on the outside. The breading was squishy and an unappetizing texture. I decided to try the edges since they had some crispiness and had a hard time cutting into the fish. Instead of the normal flaky fish, it was cold and rubbery. I had to spit the piece out because it was so chewy.
I was going to call it a loss on the fish and just eat the fries, but they tasted weird. I thought maybe they fried them with the fish or something but after having a few, it was clear the potatoes had started to ferment.
The waitress asked how everything was, and I told her the issues and specifically said, the potatoes taste rotten. She apologized but also seemed not too alarmed. Another server came over with our bill and asked how everything was, when I tried to tell her about the issues, she just started walking away as I was talking. It's not her fault the kitchen messed up the food, but she seemed completely uninterested in addressing anything.
We left and pretty quickly on the drive home I started feeling sick, so I know that the food was either expired or contaminated. Definitely never eating there again and I am not sure if I can even trust the coffee now.

We had a bad experience at The Aussie Grind. We arrived on a rainy day and we have been asked to wait to get seated. While we were standing inside the restaurant somebody asked us wait outside, even though we said its pouring outside. Cancelled our reservation and had to leave without dining in. Not accommodating, not friendly not welcoming. Will not be going back .
Very nice people!

If you’re looking for a coffee shop that feels like a perfect blend of Aussie charm and local comfort, The Aussie Grind is the spot. From the moment you walk in, the aroma of fresh espresso hits you, and you just know you’re in for something special.
The coffee? Absolutely top-tier—smooth, rich, and made with real care. Their food menu is just as impressive, with flavors that balance creativity and comfort perfectly. You can tell the kitchen takes pride in every plate they send out.
But what really makes this place shine is the service, especially from Jordan. She’s the kind of waitress who turns a good visit into an unforgettable one—warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Jordan has that rare ability to make every guest feel like the most important person in the room, and her energy brings the whole café to life.
Whether you’re grabbing a quick latte or settling in for brunch, The Aussie Grind delivers on every level. And if you’re lucky enough to be served by Jordan, you’ll leave not just satisfied, but smiling.
Highly recommend—this is more than a coffee shop, it’s an experience.
This is THE spot for breakfast in town. Fresh juices all made in-house, awesome did inspired by Australiam culture, an adorable pastry case full of treats, and a buzzing, friendly atmosphere, the Grind is a perfect place for a quick bite or a family brunch either way.

Love the employees here, they're always so welcoming. If I lived closer to this place I could see myself becoming a regular here. I LOVE their cappuccinos, the banana bread is served with this delicious cream and jam and all the food I've had here so far has been unique and delicious.
Edit: I've now tried their shrimp scampi, Breaky Gnocchi, and Big Breaky and loved them all. Both pastas are rather oily, so if you don't like that then avoid. But they're delicious.

Great brunch place, reasonble priced, just enough varieties. The only thing that's not working is the sound seems really loud in the restaurant.

It’s hot out in Texas and they force you to wait outside for your coffee..not the best system or customer service. Also a medium cup of dirty chai is the same size as a small and $8 which is more expensive than the prices I pay for in California
excellent service & the food was delicious and fresh! Super kid friendly!!
