I came here for happy hour - 3-6 with half price cocktails and appetizers. We got the margarita with garlic knot chicken Parmesan sliders and chicken Philly eggrolls. The chicken parm could have been thicker but the garlic knots made up for it. I want to come back for their $1 mini martinis.

While patronizing this restaurant today with my wife for the first time. My wife asked the waiter for a lemon with our water and we never got it until I had to ask for it again. However this is not what displeased us. When I ask the waiter for my check to pay our ticket he had already added a 18% gratuity to our meal. If that's not ridiculous enough itself. The menu clearly shows that a 18% gratuity will be charged automatically to a party of 6 or more. It was only my wife and . I confronted the waiter about the matter his explanation was a 18% gratuity is automatically charged to everyone. I felt my wife and I had been taken advantage of by the restaurant. Needless to say we want be going there anymore.

Great vibes! Came here for a birthday and we had a great table. Service was okay and the food was pretty good. My only issue is it's a little pricey. They do give a good portion of food though. It's best to have a reservation ahead of time because the line was through the door the whole time we were there. The establishment does feel a bit crowded. Will most likely still be back soon.

Was in Frisco for work and wanted to try a few places around the area so my wife and I chose common table. Was immediately seated with a friendly smile and rather quick service. Our sever was great from beginning to end. It's rather small but the ambiance is casual nothing spectacular. The food was very underwhelming. The meatball was pretty good seasoned well and cooked properly so my hopes were up going into my entree. I ordered blackened fish scampi. It was neither blackened or scampi. The base components of scampi were all missing and the fish was severely under seasoned. Salt and pepper go a long way when executed properly. I can taste it wasn't seasoned and they relied on the sauce and "blackened" flavor that was there to compensate for lack of basic seasoning. I'm good on common table

Food was incredible and service was amazing. Chose this place randomly while visiting, and now making it a staple when I come back! Grilled Chicken Caesar salad was a hit, and drinks are amazing. Highly recommend!

Stopped and common table for dinner. The service was pretty good. The place was cute I had pretty high hopes but when I got the food that went downhill quickly. I got the shrimp scampi. To start I have never had scampi that was creamy. The food had zero flavor. I doused it in salt pepper and Tabasco to try to help it out but it was beyond repair. The shrimp tasted like it was boiled. Not good at all. I took 4 bites and couldn't take it anymore. My husband got the fish scampi and his food was just as disappointing. We went across the street ti Tupelo honey and ordered dinner all over again. Oh and the "garlic knot" that came with the meal has zero garlic on it. Smh I will definitely not be back!!

Great brunch, get vibes. The hip hop dj brunch was packed but if you make a reservation you can skip the line. The short rib hash was fantastic.

I can't think of one bad thing. The service was good, the portions are large, the food was excellent and the music was banging.

Came here for happy hour around 5 for the first time. Our server was really nice and sweet. Our cocktails came out very slow even though the place was pretty empty. Took about 15+ mins not sure why. Food was really good. The boom boom shrimp was our favorite, then the chicken sliders and chicken Philly egg rolls. Our least favorite was the pepperoni and jalapeño ranch flatbread. The pizza crust was not very good. Not crispy and very hard doughy. Wither way, the happy hour drinks and food specials are 50% off. If you are by The Star, give this place a try.

A unique farm to table restaurant style lunch or dinner place at The Star in Frisco. Amazing service. Excellent food. After a long hard day of glorious junk removal, this is where we love to come and relax.

The wait is NOT BAD , we made reservations at the last min ! We were seated Jazmine (lovely af). Our waitress was Mia, not only is she aesthetically pleasing but her energy was patient and beautiful ! She was attentive and made sure we were ok literally every other 5 mins ! When and if you come to common table allow Jazmine to sit you in MIA’s area ! If these two teamed up I swear they’ll make one heck of an experience ! Great music , great food and cheap mimosas ! I can’t loose (sza voice) !

The food was good however the seating arrangements are absolutely horrible. We were seated on the patio. Our table had no umbrella to block the sun that was beaming on our table. They did not offer to put one up when we complained about the sun. The common table should offer sunblock and hats to customers if they arent going to provide proper coverage from the sun. Secondly the patio is packed full and every 2 mins someone is walking behind your table and you are having to move and adjust for the servers to get by. What an inconvenience to be eating and constantly you are adjusting so a server can help a table behind you or diagonally from you.if you come here make sure you let the hostess know you do not want to sit outside
