Until there are improvements to their level of service I cannot recommend this restaurant. Low energy atmosphere, long waits for food and drinks with ~25% capacity. After 45min of waiting for food, the orders were cooked incorrectly.

This is the first negative review I've ever posted. My husband and I went to The Community Grill, in Frisco for the first time last Saturday. There were only 2 other tables besides us so it wasn't very busy. We ordered our drinks and our waitress was asked 3 different times for Sweet N Low which she never did bring. My husband had the Sliced BBQ sandwich, the bun was warm but the meat inside was cold. I had the Cobb Salad that was actually pretty good. We were both out of our drinks for at least ten minutes so I decided to walk up to the counter and ask for refills, and the Sweet N Low. There was also another person that walked up behind me for refills as well. Our waitress had disappeared for a very long time so I tried to ask for help from a man that might have been the owner. Unfortunately, he was too busy standing there watching someone taking pictures of the food that was being prepared. The sad thing was, both of us were looked at several times but no one would help us for at least 5 minutes. Sadly, there was another large group at a table and they were being helped by what appeared to be possibly another owner or GM. As for husband, myself, and this other gentleman and his family that were dining we all were being ignored.

So SAD! Used to love this restaurant… quality of food has greatly declined. Service was ok… little slow but the waitress was sweet. Restrooms were horrendous… I’ve seen cleaner restrooms in gas stations and there were cockroaches in the restroom as well. Oh well… what can you do aside from taking it of my favorites list.

We've been lunch regulars for 2+ years. As other recent reviews have mentioned, the restaurant was recently sold and is under new ownership/management. While the menu has largely remained unchanged, we've noticed the steady decline in food quality and service ever since.

I've been coming here for the last couple of years and was saddened to hear that the restaurant had been sold. I attempted to come in for happy hour and a meal. Sadly, the hostess just stared without a glimpse of attention. Upon walking to the bar, another kid just stared at me and said nothing. I asked if the bar was closed.....he just continued to stare. I turned around and walked out realizing this is no longer the place I fell in love with. It looks like u til further notice this place is BYOB.What a damn shame. Frisco has truly lost a gem. Wishing Chef the best in his future endeavors ?

The staff is 90% High School kids and a bit disorganized. Everyone is on their cellphones, eating while preparing our food, taking selfies, and the bathroom is always out of handsoap. The restaurant was sold to new owners recently who probably run the Indian market next door too. The service is good, people are nice, cocktails are magnificent, wings are mediocre, spaghetti is to die for and the Caprese with basil is sensational!. We have been customers for about 3 years now and have already seen a decline since the old owner sold the restaurant. He will be missed immensely. Our son loves the macaroni, please don’t change the recipe! :)Hopefully the new owners make amazing changes and add a few new items to the menu. Thanks guys!Jen and Patrick

Love the food and the music. Great experience at my new favorite place to eat.
After trying the Brownie Vanilla ice cream I’ve ascended to Nirvana. This place is divine and I highly recommend it to everyone. I also tried my son’s pasta and almost took it off his hands, he wouldn’t let me tho so I took my husband’s. Katie was such a kind & considerate waitress too, her recommendations were on point.

Ordered the Sausage Cajun Pasta, honestly one of the best pastas I’ve had, it had such a nice subtle spice to it. Also tried the garden grilled chicken sandwich which was equally unique and tasty. Great service as well (^O^)
