The fried pickles were the best thing we ate. We had a party of 8, 4 adults and 4 kids. When they brought my daughters pasta they spilled extremely hot pasta sauce on her and didn't even apologize. The portions are extremely small for the price and the service was lacking. Most of the food was just mediocre and everything needed salt. My son did like his crawfish fettuccine alfredo. Do not recommend, would not eat here again.

Absolutely dreadful experience at the Green Gator! The catfish tasted like it was pulled straight from the swamp - slimy and unpleasant. The fries were practically raw, like they forgot to actually cook them. And don't even get me started on the hush puppies - hard as rocks! Save your money and skip this swampy disaster of a restaurant.

The service is a zero star. We sat at the bar for 10 minutes before the bartender would even speak to us then the first thing she said when she finally spoke was that you have to be 21 to sit at the bar since we had our 14 year old. We said our daughter could sit at a table and she said she would have to have a server so we left. Not a single person greeted us so we came to Rotate with the most excellent and kind service and way better prices.

I placed an online order, and paid an up charge for a side. The default side that comes with the meal I chose is fries so I chose a variety fry option they put on their menu. They gave me hush puppies instead which I do not eat. There was no communication advising they would not complete my order, and it’s unacceptable to not fulfill 1/2 of two orders especially for $23 per meal. Also I did not receive any tarter or cocktail sauce for the fish meals. It was literally only 3 dry pieces of fish and dry hush puppies. So disappointing and I will not purchase from here again.

The only good thing was the five dollar drinks advertised (at least you can get drunk depending on how strong they are), and for a place advertising cajun food they don't do it justice. I had two different types of gumbo here and both were lack luster. One was lukewarm and the other was way too salty. Surprisingly expensive too, we both had water and our bill was over $50

I ordered fried catfish porboy, I was given blackened, with warmed over French fries, to add insult the strip of fish was too small to cover a piece of bread.
First time I've ever been here pleasantly surprise my wife and myself went Very had entertainment a very good singer a trio food was excellent prices were reasonable.

Great spot. Live music and a huge bar. Food was pretty darn good and I was quite surprised except for one item. Shared all with a friend so we could try a wide array of items. Crab fingers: thumbs up. Pork stuffed onions: interesting but really pretty good. Chargrilled oysters were amazing. Crawish sandwich was fantastic and definitely large enough to split. Thumbs down on the gumbo. Not good at all. Seasoned with something that just doesn't taste right, too much rice and not enough seafood. Just tasted weird because of some wrong seasoning. Overall though it's a great place and a fun atmosphere and I'll be back.

Jen the bartender was great! Welcoming and not overbearing. I was in town for work and just out enjoying the area, walking around and happened upon this place and just had to try it out. Felt like a regular the moment I sat down. She had great suggestions. The local beer selections were delicious and went well with food I ordered and that I let her order. I had the gator (my choice) and crab finger sautéed (her choice and surprise) and they…WERE TO DIE FOR!!!… Highly recommend trying it out.
