You might be lucky enough to eat the recipes of a James Beard semifinalist but to find one where the atmosphere feels like a home and the staff treat you (and each other) like family is a one-of-one culinary experience. We will be back, this was entirely worth the drive from Dallas to Frisco!

I absolutely loved the personal and kind service, as well as the home ambiance. However, the food didn't seem to match the promises of the restaurant. I understand that they use the whole cow and that everything was going to be very natural. So when I got processed meat on my plate, even if it was a homemade sausage, I didn't feel good about the place or about myself eating it. The dishes were not anything memorable, just meh. I wouldn't come back.

Best flank steak and chocolate silk pie I've ever had. Top-notch service and wonderful atmosphere. Perfect for catching up with friends or a date night.

I had such an amazing experience ! Everyone was so kind, generous and pleasant. I spent my birthday here and they really made the occasion very special and one of a kind. The atmosphere was homey and inviting. It had a warm, natural lighting. The decorum was perfect. Even though it was an open space, it still felt cozy and intimate. The food was delicious and very satiating. I will definitely return and would recommend to others! Such a wonderful experience.

Chef Rich Vana and his team are truly spectacular. I visited for the chef’s tasting menu and I was absolutely blown away.

I have been to several Michelin Starred restaurants, chef’s tables, and other James Beard nominated chef’s restaurants before, so when I say that Heritage Table was one of the best dining experiences I have ever had, it carries some weight.

There was no lobster or caviar. No “fancy” ingredients to try to impress me. Instead, the menu centered around what was local and fresh, prepared in unique and delicious ways. One example that stands out is a butternut squash soup. I will preface this by saying I do not like squash: I was the first person at the table to finish that soup. It was that amazing. I will add - there was one squash centered course that I did not enjoy, but Chef Vana replaced it with a carrot centered dish that was one of my favorites of the night.

Something else that made it special was that Chef Vana would visit our table after every course was served, explain the course, and answer any questions we had about anything! Never once did I feel that he was rushed or needed to be somewhere else. It truly felt like he was there just for us.

I would be remiss if I did not compliment the service. The water never ran dry, plates were cleared promptly, and everyone was so friendly, happy, and knowledgeable.

The Heritage Table is a gem, not so hidden anymore now that Chef Vana is a James Beard semifinalist. I look forward to visiting during a different season to see what fresh and local ingredients, along with creativity, will appear on the menu. Thank you for a wonderful and memorable evening.

A delicious, hospitable and memorable dining experience! My friends and I enjoyed the Chef’s tasting menu last evening. The journey through the courses was well balanced in flavors and textures, and the portions were very generous! Most importantly, the hospitality was wonderful! Chef Vana joined us at the table for each course to share the story of where the ingredients come from and how the meal is prepared. His attention to detail and focus on using locally-sourced high-quality ingredients is appreciated. This restaurant highlights superior quality without the stuffiness of your typical fine-dining establishment. Thank you for a most enjoyable evening and for making us feel at home! We look forward to returning!

Chef Rich and his staff create a southern comfort, delicious and savory experience that make you feel like a family member or a close friend at the dining table (if your family member or close friend was an uber-talented chef). It's cozy and has a rich and diverse menu wrapped in a no-waste philosophy, and you want waste any crumbs either. It's easily one of the best restaurant in Frisco, let alone DFW.

Always the best service and food. Such an experience every time we go...we love this farm to table restaurant so much. The Wagyu steak was cooked to perfection and the redfish has such a great flavor. The bourbon cherry jam that came with their famous milk rolls was out of this world good.

Can’t wait to go back! Highly recommend The Heritage Table. Everything was fantastic, food, service, everything. We celebrated our birthdays here and they treated us so kindly. I was a big fan of the lamb meatballs, very savory, and the carrots in koji sauce was to die for. The mashed potatoes were a subbed side, very yummy and simple, paired great with the sauce. The redfish was also delicious. You could tell it was very fresh, and the skin was crisped to perfection. And honestly, I’m very snobbish when it comes to desserts; these were fantastic! The silk pie was thick and light at the same time, perfect level of sweet, and my wife loved theit Basque. Really, I can’t wait to go back and try the other things on the menu. We had all celiac/ GF and no issues after

Dietary restrictions: Gluten friendly and very good!

The photos online cannot possibly capture the charm and quality of dining experience here! I was searching for a local restaurant to celebrate my husband and I’s 12 year anniversary together and although the atmosphere looked slightly lacking - the reviews told me it was worth a shot and thank GOODNESS for that because the interior has definitely gone through a bit of an update and the entire restaurant had a charming, historic but updated vibe to it. The staff was phenomenal- making every second of our time here enjoyable. The cute custom celebration card, the waiters and staff all wished us a happy anniversary when they came by our table, a complimentary sparkling wine or dessert to celebrate! They really go out of their way to make the night special and I couldn’t be more thankful for their efforts and kindness. The food itself is all farm to table - what we ordered was beyond anything we’d ordered from any typical fancy restaurant our dinner and dessert exceeded our expectations in flavor, presentation and quality did not sub for quantity by any means - every dish was fulfilling and delicious down to every bite. We both ordered the Country Fried Chicken & Spaetzle which was a medley of perfectly cooked chicken - so tender and delicious, the entire dish had a wonderful citrus zing that livened up every fork full until there was nothing left on the plates. I convinced my husband to get the balsamic friend Brussels sprouts and not only were they entirely enjoyable but I had to snatch away the last bite before he could gobble it down. The chocolate pie was decadent and perfectly paired with their homemade ice cream - so do not even dream of ordering one without the other. The head chef made an appearance around the restaurant, answering questions or just making sure to say hello to every table. Our entire meal and experience here was deserving of 10/5 stars if I could. It’s a rare occasion that a restaurant still takes the time to celebrate life’s little moments and provide such a special evening… most restaurants seem to have given up and just supply a half hearted attempt at something celebratory but NOT the amazing staff at Heritage Table. They make sure all the little details are in place that ensure a wonderfully memorable night… Cannot wait to go again with our friends on Thursday!

We came here for our anniversary ? . We had such an incredible meal and evening. They truly made us feel special on our special evening.

The grits are the best. I asked about the cheese, and the chef came out and gave me the whole story about where the cheese came from. It was so over the top in terms of excellent service. I love that they source everything local.

Our entire meal was sublime! I hope we can get back here again soon.

We were able to get a late walk-in seating at 8pm on a Saturday. The menu has an upscale country influence but is well thought out and there are lots of hand crafted, made in house options. The mushroom soup was divine. We didn’t get any desserts, but they looked glorious, and we plan to return to give them a try. Heritage table has had the same owner/chef from the start. We always enjoy frequenting locally owned businesses, and this one was a treat to go to.

This was our first visit to Heritage Table, and we'll be back! Food and service were excellent: comparable to the Michelin restaurant at which we recently ate in Denver, CO, and the Michelin-recommended restaurant recently visited in Beaver Creek, CO. Our server, Sloan, was knowledgeable and professional; he is a young man but has the poise and maturity of a quite experienced server, and he contributed well to our overall enjoyment. Restaurant is a bit noisy but actually it was kind of nice: we could still hear each other well without having to work at it, and the noise level provides some conversational privacy. Here's what we ordered: Fried Green Tomatoes--perfection; flavorful; not greasy; amazing. Mushroom Soup--not to be missed; strong/complex mushroom flavor; wow! Rolls & house-made cherry jam--maybe bourbon/cherry? Very nice. Chicken & spaetzle--again, perfection in all aspects. Fresh, flavorful, perfectly fried, wonderful. Farm chicken sausage--excellent (but the chicken & spaetzle = better) Chocolate silk pie--coffee-forward flavor: best silk pie in the history of silk pie. Lillet cocktail--again, perfectly balanced & flavorful. Made just right.
