This was our first time at The Heritage Table. Our server, Noel was attentive, but never obtrusive. The cocktails (Texas peach iced tea, cherry buzz) were exceptional. We started with the fried zucchini with lemon creme fraiche and onion jam (a must-try) and the homemade rolls with fig jam (so good). For our entrees, we had the Fried chicken spaetzel and the roast pork pie. I think we enjoyed the pork pie the most out of the two. My only regret is not having room for dessert, because the bread pudding with homemade marshmallow topping looked sublime. Overall it was a great experience.

Poor service
Had a reservation at 6:30pm
Didn’t get our drinks until 30 mins later they comped those

The food was bland and terrible, it should’ve been comped too since we ordered it at 6:40 & didn’t get our food until 8:05pm
It was cold and old food… my steak was not cooked fresh

We deserve our money back

Wow! This is my new favorite restaurant in downtown Frisco. My wife and I went for a dinner on a Thursday evening. We got there right when they opened at 5:00PM.

We were greeted right away from a friendly hostess. She sat us on the enclosed porch and we had the whole place to ourselves.

Again, we were greeted by a friendly server and his training partner. Both were nice and kept our waters filled.

The food. Blown away. We started with a cup of the butternut squash and mushroom soup. The butter it squash soup was the bomb! The mushroom soup was the best I've had as well. Next, we ordered the pork pot pie and their play on chicken and dumplings. Both were super flavorful and tasty.

It was my birthday, so they have us a free piece of lemon pie. Also sooo good.

Nothing but five stars here all around from beginning to end.

We will be back!!!!

Also, the menu lists the local farms where the food comes from. The food is seasonal and fresh. The menu will change frequently.

Stumbled upon this place when visiting from Pennsylvania. Server (can’t recall her name now but was from little elm) was fabulous and friendly. She also created a little scavenger hunt at the end of the night for our 5 year old. Food was all amazing. We had the pork pie, hangar steak, and chicken. We had the butter bread, zucchini, and dumplings as apps. Ordered a few drinks which were all made great! All of the staff were excellent and super friendly! Such a little gem. Loved the casual yet fine dining experience

Great spot with a few unique dishes!
We specifically loved the butternut squash soup, fried zucchini, and the hangar steak.
The desserts are also fantastic.

The food was ok. Milk bread sounded better than it was. The fried zucchini was my favorite of the meal. The desserts were better than the entrees.

It was a nice night. I know it is an old house, but it is still quite loud. The salad was wonderful. The rolls were okay, but I've been told by others they were great. So, I think we got a bad batch. My friend liked the striped bass. The short rib was fine. A bit overcooked in parts. Felt like not nearly enough (taste or portion) for the pricepoint. The chocolate pie was really ordinary. The Old Fashioned was really good.

Our server, Nico, was wonderful and attentive. The food was lovely. Rolls and peach jam a must. Super nice that the chef came around and chatted with the tables. Made it very personable.

Love the local farm to table concept. I had the pork pot pie and my wife had the chicken and spaetzle. We started with the fried zucchini and shared the chocolate pie. Don't forget the rolls. They are great! Will be coming back!

Always excellent food and service. The construction is an inconvenience but worth it to get fresh farm to table food that is consistent and flavorful. The chef is fond of pickling and the fried chicken is so flavorful an we are thrilled with mushroom soup!! My son loves looking for little ducks around the restaurant. This is our birthday and anniversary spot!

Farm to table at its best. Each dish is layered with flavor that brings out every ingredients' taste. The service was attentive.
