Was mot as good as our first visit. The food (pot pie and chicken) was somewhat boring. However, my Old Fashioneds were perfect.
This spot is an absolute gem! The ingredients are so fresh and so simple. It's like if you went to Kroger, bought every fresh ingredient, vegetable, and spice, then handed it to a Michelin Star chef to prepare you a meal. The atmosphere is warm and cozy, very laid back. Service is wonderful. Prices are very reasonable. Check it out if you haven't yet. You won't regret it.
This was truly the best dining experience I ever had, from the service to the food. Service was by far beyond excellent from the time we walked in to the time we left. We we started with milk and honey rolls with jam, the mushroom soup, lamb and beef meatballs and Blackland Caesar salad; followed by the country-fried chicken and spaetzle, Texas striped sea bass and prairie farmstead pork pie; finishing with chocolate silk pie, buttermilk lemon pie and golden milk bread pudding. I would have a hard time picking the best dish as each one had its own unique flavor profile with such depth and complexity.
Outstanding service and meal. Really pleased with the wait staff and how they made my wife feel special on her birthday. This was our second time at the restaurant and definitely not the last.
This was our second time eating here. First visit was great. This time not so much. Not sure what was going on but it took for ever to get our appetizers, ordered a drink and then waitress came back 15-20 minutes later and asked if we wanted another drink, the first had never shown up. The fish that my daughters ordered was one of the worst looking and tasting dishes I have seen in quite sometime. Wasn't the best experience.
A delicious night celebrating a friend's birthday. I tried the Lillet of the Valley cocktail and it was light and delicious - easy to drink. We split the fried squash and the rolls with honey butter and jam. The squash was lightly friend and fantastic with its sauces, I wasn't sure what to expect when I first ordered it - would definitely order again. The rolls were some of the best - light, fluffy, and big, with the whipped honey butter and homemade blackberry jam - almost like a dessert. I enjoyed my entree of country fried chicken and spaetzle. The lemon butter sauce was tangy and added so much flavor to the sourdough spaetzle, and the crispy chicken breast pieces were lightly breaded and well seasoned. The hostess and servers were all lovely and attentive. Will be coming back.
Rich is doing a fantastic job! Frisco is so lucky to have him and his restaurant. The food, the service and the value of this lovely restaurant is on point. Keep on keepin on!
Always amazing quality and service. They were out of a few things but the sous chef came out to offer options. Really an outstanding place and incredible food quality.
We had a great experience. Food is very good. Service is great. I would definitely come back.
Came in with our newborn and they helped us out so much. Also the food is always great here. Really enjoyed the pork pie and the beast. Desserts and Rolls were AMAZING!

Chef is amazing and his creations are finely blessed and touched from his soul. The experience is top tier.
This was our first time at The Heritage Table. Our server, Noel was attentive, but never obtrusive. The cocktails (Texas peach iced tea, cherry buzz) were exceptional. We started with the fried zucchini with lemon creme fraiche and onion jam (a must-try) and the homemade rolls with fig jam (so good). For our entrees, we had the Fried chicken spaetzel and the roast pork pie. I think we enjoyed the pork pie the most out of the two. My only regret is not having room for dessert, because the bread pudding with homemade marshmallow topping looked sublime. Overall it was a great experience.

Poor service
Had a reservation at 6:30pm
Didn’t get our drinks until 30 mins later they comped those
The food was bland and terrible, it should’ve been comped too since we ordered it at 6:40 & didn’t get our food until 8:05pm
It was cold and old food… my steak was not cooked fresh
We deserve our money back

Wow! This is my new favorite restaurant in downtown Frisco. My wife and I went for a dinner on a Thursday evening. We got there right when they opened at 5:00PM.
We were greeted right away from a friendly hostess. She sat us on the enclosed porch and we had the whole place to ourselves.
Again, we were greeted by a friendly server and his training partner. Both were nice and kept our waters filled.
The food. Blown away. We started with a cup of the butternut squash and mushroom soup. The butter it squash soup was the bomb! The mushroom soup was the best I've had as well. Next, we ordered the pork pot pie and their play on chicken and dumplings. Both were super flavorful and tasty.
It was my birthday, so they have us a free piece of lemon pie. Also sooo good.
Nothing but five stars here all around from beginning to end.
We will be back!!!!
Also, the menu lists the local farms where the food comes from. The food is seasonal and fresh. The menu will change frequently.
