The Monarch Stag Whiskey & Cigar Lounge

The place has a great atmosphere and a stylish interior. However, the food was disappointing. We ordered a lobster roll and Brussels sprouts. The presentation was nice, but the dishes were either too dry or too greasy. Cocktails are very standard, nothing creative or anything that stands out. The music was extremely loud, making it impossible to have a conversation. The waitresses didn’t clear the plates from the table and mostly ignored them as they walked by.

This was the most overpriced cigar lounge that I've ever entered. They had regular cigars that you can purchased for $15 -20 , but theirs was a$45,and up per cigar? Who gave them the right to over price ever Cigar in the building ? Unbelievable, the atmosphere was nice, but not to the point that they should be able to charge this amount of money. I'm just surprised that they're able to get away with this .I won't be back. There will be no need to return.

I was there New Years Eve, and not a very good experience. Definitely not upscale. Guys were allowed to wear baseball caps at the table and sneakers, really? The food was bland, sans seasoning and the selections were sub-par. Not good!

This is bar has a nice atmosphere. We had some challenges getting our drinks served timely and had to follow up a few times. One of the cocktails was a veeeeeeery stingy pour hidden by the huge ice block inside the glass. For $25 the cocktail needs to deliver. Had to request it be remade with appropriate measures. Probably not a return for me.

I wish I would have gotten the name of the server bc she was amazing.
I had a filet it was so good. It was cooked perfectly and tender. My husband had a ribeye. He really like the flavor but said the steak was chewy.
Atmosphere was a mixed bag and the most disappointing but also the vibes were on point. For the price and the type of food you really don't expect to be sitting at small cocktail tables. However they had some great entertainment. All in all, I'd go back. I'd probably just go for some drinks though.

The Monarch Stag is just THE BEST place to go have cocktails. The staff is amazing, and the drinks are killer! The CLASSIC REBELLION was particularly tasty. The bartender recommended it, and it did not disappoint. The Bacon Wrapped Dates are absolutely to-die-for and the oysters on the half shell were outstanding. I will go back often because the whole package at the Stag is so good.

Loved everything about this place! Our waitress Kayla was amazing! She was so attentive and helpful. Will definitely be back!

I LOVE this place! Riley is by far one of the best bartenders. Always professional and knows the best recommendations. The food is amazing and Derek is an amazing owner. I tell EVERYONE about this place!!

Such a great date night experience. The
drinks were well made, the live music, was great, I love how it looks inside, and the acrobat/fire dancer was everything. Will be back.

Also, I wasn't really hungry but we got some truffle fries since we were drinking and they were very tasty too.

Poor service!!!clearly if you are a woman who wants to relax by having a drink and cigar, you are not welcomed. I sat here for 12 mins prior to requesting for my order to be taken. No one acknowledged me the host continuously attended to couples and men. I requested a cigar was never taken back to smoke it. Each time I desired service I had to flag a hostess down. NOTWHAT I WOULD EXPECT!

This place has gone downhill. Plays country music…happy hour ends at 5pm so forget about coming after work…place is completely dead. Only 3 people in the entire place. Not worth spending your time here.

Unprofessional management Josh was aware of an issue that I had experienced here from being overcharged and someone else tab was on mine. I called and spoke with this manager twice now, he agreed to refund me the additional amount back to my card and send me an updated receipt the first time which I have a recording of this.Second time I have called he denied that he will not be sending me an updated receipt/nor refund back for the items I was not responsible for. I will now be sure to correct this with my bank and proceed with legal action if needed. I tipped the bartender (Liana Z) when her service was not the best and was ignored while sitting at the bar. The first thing a bartender/server should ask is if we are on one tab or separate checks. She automatically picked up my card without informing me on the charge and also service was super slow. She stayed on her phone the whole time and decided to chat with her coworkers. I let Josh know that I was responsible for my own tab. Which I was already charged for. I will never do business with this place again.
