Tropical Smoothie Cafe

Size of a $12 smoothie bowl is ridiculous. Whole thing fits in the palm of my hand. Whole thing is frozen solid, like it was made days ago and kept in a freezer until ordered then fruit toppings were added. Overall quality is worth about $6 price but is instead twice that.

I am so frustrated with this location. if you go here, avoid special orders. I always order my wraps with no cheese, and add whey protein to my smoothies.
after several misses in a row, I stopped going to this location. they are much closer to my house, so i gave them a new try a few weeks ago. and i didn’t have problems for several orders, but today, they screwed up again. of course I didn’t discover until I got home and opened. so ruined lunch going in the trash, and i’m left trying to find something to eat - which is why i drove to TSC in the first place. very frustrating. it shouldn’t be too hard to leave out cheese when it is clearly right in front of the person assembling on their screen.
i still love TSC, but will seek other locations going forward.

Absolute nightmare, had an order for pick up and the lady there was harassing me.. telling me to confirm my order and refused to give me my drink that I paid for?? I showed her my bank account and she finally gave me my order, these people are running a Natzi camp up here! Won’t be coming back.

This place is wonderful and good service. Lots of great options. Some with protein powder, some with yogurt, some with chocolate.

Most of the employees here are kind and quick at what they do. My drink was made wrong but it was fixed very promptly. They’re definitely not always consistent but good enough :)

Was chewing the second half of my smoothie almost as if it was a soggy salad

They gave me an entirely wrong order and before i could come back and fix it they closed early.

Food service was terrible through drive thru at 2:30pm on Saturday February 3rd. I waited for almost 20 minutes just to get a chipotle chicken sandwich and they missed my side item. I had to honk my horn to remind them I was still waiting. Terrible service.

I went to this place for the first time today. There are very good healthy choices on the menu. Smoothies come in only one size and I needed a much smaller one to bring to work. I ordered in the drive thru. Ordered a 'dilla with the kale/apple salad. I'm at work and I open to eat lunch and there's no napkins, no fork to eat the salad. wth? Do they expect you to eat a salad with your hands? geez I will say that the bahama mama smoothie is really good.

Came here and got an $8.50 smoothie. They want me to tip on top of that. This tipping culture has gotten out of control. Is it because this owner can’t pay his employees a livable wage so they have to rely on the kindness of strangers for tips? I’m just curious. I work at the gas station down the street. Next time you fill up your car with gas, come inside and give me a tip please.
