Used app to order food. First order of the day. Pulled into drive through and couldn’t find my order. After a long time finally found it. Told no turkey which was 1/2 the order. When I refused to switch order and wanted full refund made to wait. Finally told they had turkey but had to wait again. I was pressed for time and took the order. You guessed it …..under cooked. Beware. Wasted $125 plus and having to take everyone out to lunch.

The food is not bad. Tastes better than the one in San Antonio. However, they are a teaspoon place; a little tsp of this and a little tsp of that for about $17.The front clerks are pretty nice, but the ones in the back just stand around and do nothing and give you attitude. Every time I go there they are just standing around doing nothing but looking at you in the face funny. They won't let you bring your cart from the grocery store with your food in there, so you have to walk all the way out to put your food up then come back in which makes no sense. They tell me the carts are a fire hazard, a total lie because the carts are made of steel. When the last time you saw steel on fire? smh Will only eat here every once in a blue moon.Sorry, this review is for the Spring Creek location. Not the one on Main in Frisco.

Prepackaged BBQ sauces that taste like plastic

This is the 3rd time I have ordered a meal and every time there has been no BBQ sauce included even though I requested it. I brought this to the managers attention on the 1st order. The food is good but what is BBQ without BBQ?

Been here twice and both times they're out of items. Also it's a little pricy for BBQ when I'd consider it average. The plus side is the drive-thru. The 3.2 star review is pretty accurate. Extra charges for ribs. Last thing to add, drive-thru took 15 minutes and there was only one car in front of me. *Updated.

If you're on the hunt for an authentic Texas barbecue experience that will tantalize your taste buds and leave you craving more, look no further than True Texas BBQ. From the moment you step through the doors, you're greeted with the irresistible aroma of smoked meats and the warm atmosphere that defines true Southern hospitality. But what truly sets True Texas BBQ apart is not just the exceptional food but also the exceptional service. Amidst the bustling atmosphere, one shining star stands out: a cashier named Amber. Amber's infectious smile and unwavering enthusiasm made my visit to True Texas BBQ a memorable one. Amber offered to let me sample the brisket to be sure that it was not to fatty for my preference, which I truly appreciated. I was also offered a sample of the amazing beans which I hadn't tried before, but am now a die hard fan. I just might have found my new favorite BBQ spot!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at HEB barbecue in Frisco, Texas, and I must say, it was a fantastic experience. Ty, our server, was incredibly kind and helpful, making sure our dining experience was top-notch. The menu offered a great selection, and the food was absolutely delicious. What's even better is the convenience of their drive-thru option, which allowed us to grab a bite after picking up our groceries. Overall, it was a delightful experience, and I highly recommend HEB barbecue to anyone looking for delicious food and excellent service.

Turkey was very good. The order did not come with barbecue sauce. 3 pickles and a couple of onion rings. Mac and cheese very tasty however too salty. Potato salad was loaded with mayo that is all you could taste. Didn't find 1 piece of Serrano pepper in the corn bread. It was microwaved too long and got hard. Don't think i will try again.

When HEB first opened their Frisco location True Texas BBQ was a little better. I've only been 3x and the last 2x the meat was cold and no flavor. I don't know if they're prepackaging their food for to go orders, if so that should not be done with BBQ and at all. For the price you pay I would expect for it to be on point. They have a good presentation, however, the taste doesn't match what you see.

We traveled from Fort Worth to try it out. Man at the counter was not very welcoming, had to repeat order for each of us before he got it correct. We ordered 2 Michalob ultras he took 5 minutes to locate 1 bottle then said they were out. Another 10 minutes went by to get our order... 2 meat plate brisket and sausage, 2 baked potatoes.. the meat on all plates was actually cold. Potatoes were not warm enough to melt the frozen butter we were served. VERY DISAPPOINTED in the entire experience. We were planning to grocery shop after lunch, but not 1 shopping cart available. We will not return to Frisco location and will not recommend.

From my recent online order experience, I had high hopes, but unfortunately, the flavors of the food fell short. Regrettably, the collard greens were overly salty, reminiscent of the ocean. The macaroni and cheese tasted like artificial cheese, and the sausage was dry and unremarkable. Using fresh ingredients available at HEB market could enhance their dishes. The lack of care in the preparation and an excessive use of salt left me thoroughly disappointed in True Texas BBQ, particularly with their sides and sausage link. Based on other reviews, it seems the meat sandwiches are a better choice. I hope others who try this establishment receive tastier meals than what I had on my experience.

I've always wanted to try HEB bbq. Overall it was ok, I would probably just stop in and get a sandwich. I ordered a platter and was underwhelmed by the portion size and flavor. Their spicy bbq sauce does have a kick, which I enjoyed a lot! I wish you could call ahead but you can't, and then it does take a while when you are there. The restaurant is clean and carries a bbq scent which is delightful!

These are true Texan flavors! The chili was overwhelmingly flavored in brisket and ancho chili - giving a tex mex-ish vibe. Strong flavors but great pairing with the baked potato. The collard greens, on the saltier side. Mac and cheese = delectable. Sausage was good. I think this spot tastes exactly as one can expect for a grocery store which expanded into the restaurant scene. Overall it is decent for what it is. It ain't a stand alone bbq restaurant but the quick service and friendly staff made this a place I would go to after work for a friendly atmosphere and mid food. Sometimes mid is all that is needed when the service matters more on a rough day
