Be sure if you get the family pack to make sure you get all the items paid for. We got shorted one gallon of tea and some of the onions and pickles. No BBQ sauce. I didn't realize it until we got home. Tried calling the BBQ restaurant but they didn't answer the phone.

HEB was out of the beef so we had pulled pork nachos instead, ( we prefer pulled pork) and they were amazing! If you like pulled pork nachos HEB has good nachos and the sweet peach tea is great also.

Had the brisket Philly cheesesteak sandwich. Verdict? No. Cheese doesn't go on brisket. Maybe I will try this sandwich again with the grilled peppers, onions and BBQ sauce, but never again with the cheese.
Summer 2025 update. I went to the drive thru and ordered a brisket sandwich. The scoop of BBQ sauce'd shredded brisket was small for a $7 sandwich. Great customer service. Great sandwich.

I ordered delivery through the app they recommend on their website. Delivery itself was fine, but the food was disappointing overall. Several items were missing, and what did arrive felt like leftovers.
The beans I ordered were mostly liquid with very few actual beans. The peach cobbler was overcooked and dry with just a couple of peach slices mixed in. I never even received the banana pudding I paid for.
The meats were fine, nothing to rave about, and the potato salad was good if you like mustard-based recipes. I personally enjoyed it, but it’s definitely not for everyone.
Between the missing items and the mediocre quality, this just wasn’t worth the price. I probably won’t be ordering from True Texas Barbecue again.
