We stumbled upon Tupelo Honey while visiting Dallas. This place did not disappoint. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I like that the restaurant was able to cater to everyone ( visitors, professionals and the regulars). I had the Sriracha honey chicks and waffles! The chicken was Scrumptious! I tried the homemade peach and pineapple soda, it was basic.

The food was actually pretty decent however, the service was subpar at best. I ordered an orange juice for my brother and I, and the glasses were no where near full for whatever reason, and tasted strange. The server did not come to check up once, only stopped by for the bill and our order, forcing us to put in a drink order with a hostess. Proportion sizes are a little small for what you are paying but the quality isn't bad.

My family and I went when it opened on a Sunday. Please make sure you have a reservation, because this place fills up quickly. The staff is always friendly and willing to help answer any questions regarding the menu. It's a great location, but parking on the street can be tough. Best to try and finding a parking space in the garage or pay to park across the street or valet.

Not the best experience here. We all ordered the Mahi, it was cold for all of us, meat was. It flaky and fresh. Seemed cooked then frozen. It gave two of us major allergic reactions. Had to take my employee to the urgent care. Would habe probably ly drank 3x the beers had the waitress come by more often.

Great concept, but having lived in Mississippi for a large portion of my life I found the fried chicken, their signature dish, disappointing. I ordered on two different occasions just to be sure it wasn't an off night....... both times were just underwhelming.

Ordered the $30 filet and it was covered in a horse radish sauce. If the menu had said ANYTHING about horse radish, I would have chosen something else. The meat was plated on top the potatoes so I couldn't even enjoy the potatoes. The server didn't even ask if we were enjoying our meal. I would have said absolutely NOT.

TUPELO HONEY | Southern Kitchen & Bar | Frisco, TxWalking into the restaurant on a gloomy and rainy Wednesday afternoon I must say that I did not expect it to be busy! Since I was meeting a work associate for lunch I was lucky to have snagged reservations and highly recommend considering making a quick reservation for yourself when you decide to indulge in their sophisticated southern cuisine. The brand describes themselves as a fusion between Southern & Appalachian Mountain cuisine and, while I have never heard of such a thing, it is certainly delicious! To start we shared their Famous Fried Green Tomatoes that were perfectly done. Fried Green Tomatoes are not quite as soft as a ripe tomato and being lightly crusted and pan-fried gives them the perfect light crunch to start your meal. I did see the Biscuits for a Cause pass to another table and found myself already planning my next trip back to try those!Since I am always a Brunch girl, I ordered the Smoked Salmon Grit Cake & Eggs for my main course and my eggs were cooked perfectly! The grit cake was very soft and easy to enjoy and paired very well with the capers and smoked salmon. I wish I could have enjoyed dessert and will have to save that for my next trip as well. So many reasons to go back! I was also very happy to see a Non-Alcoholic Menu and highly recommend the turmeric ginger tonic (if you like ginger)!Treat yourself to Tupelo Honey, make reservations, and enjoy the southern charm!

My family loved the Mac and cheese. My son in law liked the binge in chicken. I had a big bowl of gumbo. It was a little spicy.

We’ve been at this restaurant for a birthday celebration. We were a big group and ordered different dishes from the menu. My dish, mahi mahi was very dry, and the side salad greens didn’t look in great shape. Since we were a big group we sat at an isolated corner, so I didn’t really get the restaurant atmosphere or vibe. I think the best thing was the biscuit.
