I recently returned to Yum Asian bistro in Frisco after ordering from a few other places that I thought were equally good or better. Their food quality has changed for the better. It was absolutely delicious. I’ve ordered takeout and also dined in. Highly recommend trying this place if you haven’t. Lettuce wraps, Orange Chicken, Hunan Chicken and Kung Pao were all very good.
Years go by, and they stay the same...perfect every time. Hushan shrimp is amazing!

Used to be our go to take out Chinese restaurant but a recent order was so bad, I don’t think this deserves another chance. The orange chicken was overcooked and because pieces were that big, the sauce had not penetrated. The salt pepper shrimp had so many onions I had to try really hard to find shrimp. Even those were overcooked.

The service and atmosphere here was very welcoming. We got a take out order to eat at home. I highly recommend the cashew chicken, Lo mein, Steamed dumplings and Crab Rangoon. Will definitely be back to try more.
Dietary restrictions: They will make and exclude anything you ask for they were very understanding of my wife's food aversion.

By far the best Asian cuisine I’ve had in Texas. The staff is very friendly and welcoming and the food is amazing.

The food is very simple. I won’t say it is bad but it is simple in taste compared even to Panda express. All sauces were very simple in taste. If you haven’t been here, expect canned mushrooms and frozen veggies style, that was a disappointment to me.

Broccoli in garlic sauce tastes like Brocolli dipped in sugar syrup. Menu says spicy but don’t go by it.

Ordered the lo mein and fried rice and were disappointing on both fronts. Bits of the rice was old and crumbly and you can smell and taste the stale oil that was used. The cherry on top was biting down on a tiny sliver of metal, most likely from a staple. Judging from previous reviews, this seems like it has happened in the past. At $25 for two simple dishes, the quality control really needs improving.
