Their iftar buffet was a joke. Literally serve microwaved frozen shrimp pasta in Alfredo sauce as a menu item. Biriyani and the rest of the items were tasteless. Rude servers who cannot accommodate their reservation request they agreed over phone.

Iftar Buffet review only: Average (at best) food with very below average ambiance.Location is amazing with lots of potential but once you walk into the restaurant you are reminded that this is just another desi restaurant without any character.Restaurant opened less than one month ago. Furnitures already outdated. Cleanliness poor. And curtains over the windows? I’m not sure who designed the interior but you can tell no thought went into it.Food was a mess. Salty, oily, bland, and dry. Nothing stood out. For a place that prides itself on “fresh” food - everything tasted old. And this was with a hungry stomach.Lastly, the PRICE. I get it, inflation has been rough but if you are going to charge $57 post tax for two people, then SOMETHING has to stand out. Ambiance, food, customer service?Word of advice - the owners can learn a thing or two from places like Adda or BK Khan on how a new “upscale” desi restaurant should run.

Had a reservation for a surprise birthday/iftar dinner of about 20 of us. Management was very accommodating, allowing some decor and for cake to be brought in, and they even confirmed everything the night before (good communication, which isn't always the case w/desi restaurants). The variety and taste of the food (iftar buffet) was excellent, everyone in our party enjoyed greatly! Even though they had opened just a few weeks before, I would have never known because they had everything very organized. I hope that they will continue to be consistent and increase their success. Please support this small business. Thank you staff and cooks at Zaaiqa ;)

Iftar buffet feedbackFood I likedMint juice - very good oneChicken mushroomSandwichChatChicken saladKhir - though it’s not rice khir it’s salmonella khirFood I did not likeMutton pilau/ biriyani- only rice there not much meat . The goat smell is still therePakora - not very crispyChicken charga - salt was less not good tasteChicken spring roll - taste is fresh but very hard to chew .Halim - no meat there only Dal !Feels to not find some item in the menu but could not check which are theyThe people in the restaurant are very nice and gentle . Sitting area clean . But restroom is not clean and smelly . They should keep enough running air freshener during busy time like iftar .I did not like how they manage iftar . As it’s iftar time they could let the customers take food as soon as come and let them sit . By the time they open taking food it’s already iftar time and long line . Some people in the line could not break fast immediately rather waiting in line . Nobody likes to wait in line after day long fast .As a whole I will say some food are good and some not good , managements behavior nice but price should be lower than $25.99. It should be $20 as some food quality not good . People now a days give excuses of supply chain and increasing prices left and right . Management has place to improve when comes to cleanliness of restroom and serving iftar such a way that waiting time in line is managed properly

So far the best Pakistani halal food restaurant in DFW area. Luckily got the reservation for tonight since are fully booked at 3pm. The food tasted good and was cooked fresh. Service was really nice and the owner seems to care for each and every customer and was looking after himself.

Went to there iftar buffet and was amazed by the service they are providing here. They recommend to book reservation prior to visit which I did so, and got the best iftar buffet so far bcz the whole menu is freshly cooked. This is the only iftar buffet which offers Falooda in it.

Had the worst dinner experience with the family. We came in looking at all the good reviews and pictures on google as well as facebook. It turned out nothing like that. The place was dead and very pricey. It was only us at the restaurant for an hour before one more family came in. We ordered chicken 65 which came out after almost 40mins which were okay in taste. The naan was frozen naan heated.Biryani was tasteless.Tandoori chicken was half cooked and red from the inside we showed her she took it back to cook it again. The karahi was extremely oily even after we mentioned less oil at the time of ordering.Would definitely NEVER COME BACKK OR RECOMMEND. Don't fall for the fake reviews or pictures!

Booked a reservation for lunch buffet on a weekend at 12.30. Arrived at 12.15 but even at 12.50 buffet was not ready. The lady was trying to take pictures of the dishes instead of setting up the food soon and catering to the guests that were there. Ridiculously way too expensive. Do not recommend for the price. Food was nothing great and definitely not for the $25 price per person. They should have atleast given us a discount for making us wait. I don't think they'll survive long unless they serve good quality food at reasonable prices. There are plenty of other good places to eat in the DFW. They need to be realistic with the food and ambience and not try to rip people off.

I was not going to post a bad review here as I like to give business owners a chance to correct their mistakes. I asked the host for the owner's number so I could talk to him directly about the problems we had at dinner on Friday, March 25. I changed my mind after I got sick and threw up multiple times after eating at this establishment

Review is based of one experience on Saturday 7:30 pm.Reservation done for a party of 7 for 7:30. We arrived and were seated. Ordered around 7:40. and the appetizer (French fries) came out at around 8:30 and other dishes started arriving at 9 pm. We cancelled the order at 9:15 since only malai boti and tandoori tikka was served with only 5 naans for 7 people.NAANS are the ones you can buy from grocery store and they are charging 1.99 for them. They misinformed us even when we asked if the naan were made fresh at the restaurant.Tandoori tikka was good in taste.Malai boti is a sautéed version of malai boti you can find at other restaurants.Really disappointing experience!!!!
