As a desi, I have never found a desi restaurant that I truly loved. I went here because I missed moms food and my cooking wasn't doing it. Green bawarchi hit the nail on the head! Perfect! Even a Bengali Classic like roshmalai was done well!
The snacks were always good whenever we have ordered . However I am not sure if my dine in timing was bad or anything else but biryani was a disappointment. Not that I had very high expectations but it was bland and chicken was dry and didn’t look fresh . Simply coloring the Rice and adding mint leaves doesn’t make it a biryani .
We had an exceptional dining experience at Green Bawarchi in Katy! From the moment we walked in, the owner’s friendliness made us feel right at home. The food was absolutely delicious—every dish we ordered was spot on. The Pav Bhaji was perfectly spiced, the Stuffed Mirchi Bhaji had just the right amount of heat, and the Rava Dosa was crispy and flavorful.
