Great winery staff and owners. Wine selections are amazing. Shared 2 flights and was able to sample nearly all wines. Definitely coming back from Gulf Coast for live music and wonderful experience again. And definitely worth stopping at even if just traveling thru

Deschain Winery is truly a hidden gem! Their Tempranillo is easily one of the best I've ever had, if not the best. The depth of flavor and balance was simply outstanding. Our server, Grace, was fantastic—fast, attentive, and made us feel so welcome. The owner, Willem, was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about his wines. His hands-on approach and dedication to customer service were impressive, as he wasn't afraid to get involved with everything. The ambiance is perfect—tucked away in the woods, providing a peaceful and beautiful setting. We can’t wait to come back for another unforgettable experience!

The staff was very nice. The atmosphere was very nice, except for the septic tank smell. The wines were extremely acidic. We tried the rose and red flights and their wines tasted all the same. I told my husband it was like drinking pickle juice and he said that's exactly what he tasted. I do hope they fix this and I wish them the best. We will not be going back.

We landed on this patio for Happy Hour. The view was amazing. The special was rose and we tasted each one. They ranged from light to very full bodied in taste. All expertly blended. I transitioned to the Temporinllo, a very full bodied and tasty red. But the absolute show stealer was the red sangria. Served over a full glass of ice it was refreshing with a sweet start and a very tart finish. That drink alone would bring me back. Julia was an excellent server and Willem, the owner, was on site and eager to answer any questions. Texas high country wines are unique and so very tasty. I highly recommend the venue.

If I could only give this place 15 stars! Wow, what a fun, quaint, beautiful winery this is. Kristin and the staff was simply INCREDIBLE. They took such excellent care of my group of 15. The tastings were absolutely delicious and the menu of food was a divine compliment. Kristin was so kind in helping me coordinate the details of this get together as we were celebrating a birthday in my group. I've been to many wineries in NTX and this by far is the top. Definitely a must visit! And sit on the patio if you can!!
