“My husband and I stopped here on our way to Lake Murray after I found Sweet Jayne’s on Google. As we were pulling in, my husband asked, “Why didn’t we just go to Starbucks?” I’m glad I was able to say, “This is why:”

The shop is absolutely beautiful. My husband even commented that it felt “cute and hip, but still professional.” Everything was spotless, and we immediately felt welcomed by the two ladies working behind the counter. Their kindness and genuine hospitality set the tone for the entire visit.

We’re both foodies, and even my husband got excited seeing all of the pastries and breakfast options. He ordered the biscuit with pimento cheese and bacon, and it was fantastic. I also loved how extensive the coffee menu was, especially that they offer a dedicated section of sugar-free drinks (which I probably should have ordered from!). Instead, I chose the Honey Badger Latte, and it was absolutely delicious.

What really stood out wasn’t just the food or coffee, it was the experience. Had we gone to Starbucks, we would’ve had the same mass-produced food and drinks you can find at thousands of other locations. Instead, we discovered a local coffee shop with character, great food and drinks, and staff who clearly take pride in what they do.

This stop became a memory from our road trip to the lake, and that’s something a chain coffee shop just can’t replicate. Plus, they even have a drive-thru, so there’s really no reason not to support this amazing locally owned business!

P.S. Don’t forget to have that The Devil Wears Prada staff movie night. 😉”

“I stopped for gas and to use the restroom. Saw the sign for Indian food. There were other food choices but I was willing to take a chance. I was given fresh, hot Samosas, garlic Naan, rice, and chicken Tikka Masala. It was all delicious! The total was more than I was expecting; however, it was such a nice treat, the guy who waited on me was very friendly, the Christian music I was listening to made me feel good, and the place was clean, plus I could make two meals out of it so I left a tip also and agreed to write a review on google. “Great burger on a road trip. We stopped on the way to Austin. It’s a small restaurant with just 4-5 tables inside next to a gas station. The burgers were delicious. Onion rings were crispy. I had never had a fried pie before. We spilt a cherry and coconut cream. Delicious. Would recommend.”

“This is for Chili's, Not Just Wings!I used the App to order curbside. I arrived at the time it was estimated to be ready. I received a text just as I was pulling up saying my order was ready. I checked in using the text link. I waited about 10 minutes and checked in in the App. A young lady looked out and saw me sitting outside but didn't come out, so I thought maybe it wasn't ready. After another 10 minutes, I went in and saw my order sitting on a shelf. I'm sure it was cold by now. The young lady came up after I was standing there a few minutes and asked if I had a to go order. I told her yes, it's right there in the shelf and I've been waiting 20 plus minutes. She asked if I wanted it remade. I said Yes! She could tell I was very irritated. She took the food back and a manager came out. I explained my situation. He told me they were remaking it. I showed him the two check ins I had done. He then said the system must be malfunctioning. He offered a free dessert for my trouble which I gladly accepted. The manager was very friendly and helpful.The food came out after another 10 minutes. It was warm. The food was good. The molten lava dessert was fabulous.It took a lot longer than planned but everything turned out good.”

“The food was great. Their award winning ribs were some of the best I've ever had. The brisket was juicy and flavorful, pulled pork was amazing with a great bark, the chicken breast was perfectly cooked, the turkey breast was slightly dry and the seasoning was tasty but a bit spicy (not seasoned to my personal taste but was still delicious) all my kids food was good as well. The staff was very friendly, prompt, and attentive to our wants and needs. The atmosphere was nice (though very not busy) and quiet, slightly stylistic with neon signs and movie posters as the stick out decorations. It was very comfortable as well.”

“I come to chick fil a quiet often atleast once a week . The other day it was very odd I waited 20 minutes in drive thru . But yesterday I had an amazing experience Avery was very nice full of energy just made me feel good about choosing to come to chick fil a . I got the jalapeno bacon ranch with Fries and a drink. All my food was hot and fresh . The only down fall was the sandwhich only had two tiny pieces of bacon and the picture shows 3 I asked for extra pickle only got 2 total and 3 jalapeno on the sandwhich . But other than that it was good.”

They have a lot of items but it's a shame they took off the fish and shrimp tacos. The tacos were fine but it is the same stuff every one else has. The guacamole was good.”
