Great stop just before hitting Rt 35. Extremely fast, friendly, delicious and inexpensive food with more than generous portions. Chef Salad was piled about 10" high and the cheeseburger was perfectly seasoned and cooked and came loaded with veggies. Added a heaping side of fries for just $1.Coffee refills were frequent and fresh, despite being inside of an hour to closing. About 20 bucks for both of us to eat.
We have been here twice while passing through. When you walk in the door, you are greeted and welcomed by multiple people. They are very inviting and attentive. The atmosphere is relaxing and as if amongst family in a building. The food is always consistent. The eggs are cooked exactly how you ask. Not over, not under, just right. We were in the area visiting our grandkids. With 2 grandkids with us, we stopped in for lunch. Fast food is ... okay, but when I have the time, local places like the Trails Inn just can't be beat. I love places like this!
