“The best kept (not so) secret in Gainesville! I drove through town and ventured off the main road away from the chains and found a place that will force me to come back! The staff took their time explaining in detail the coffees and pastries and got me setup with an iced carmel coffee that I’m still thinking about 24 hours later. I judge all pastry shops on the basic sugar cookie and Sweet Jayne handed me a rich, soft golden cookie with the right hint of lemon that makes me want to slap my pappy! I also tried the raisin pecan and lemon raspberry bar. Everything in this place will make you question your grandmothers talent! I also got the pleasure of talking with the owner as she was trying new homemade items to possibly put on the menu. I got the strong impression that I may have found perfection, but she never will. She explained that she makes every item from scratch every morning - nothing is brought in. No wonder it’s sooo good! She threw in an oatmeal cream pie just because I said hello. Folks, get off the beaten path and find a little heaven in Gainesville. Thank you Sweet Jayne’s’!!“

“Most of the time when I go in there, there are three individual employees that always make my day because they are so friendly, I started going last year and have become a regular and I'm always greeted with a smile and if it's slow enough actually engage in conversation. They're very polite, even if I miss something and have to add it at the window. 3. When we pull up to the window, were ALWAYS greeted with a smile. 4. If they happen to get your order wrong, they go above and beyond to fix it. Overall, Karter(with a K) and Mr. Dre were amazing. They really changed my perspective of McDonalds. Thanks guys!“
