“Found our new burger joint. I wasn’t hungry enough for a burger so I got the texmex fried pie. Boyfriend got a burger and I was jealous. It looked awesome. Onion rings were also just as good as the rest of our meal. Will be coming back regularly.Parking: Ample parking. Truck parking also.”

“Even living in the area and hearing nothing but rave reviews, I only just recently tried this place out. I'm not a connoisseur of Indian food, but I went with someone who is, and we agreed that the food was amazing. The owner? was very nice, we got our food quickly, and everything we tried was very flavorful. Portions were very generous as well, and I thought prices were fair. Yeah, the atmosphere leaves a bit to be desired (it IS inside of a gas station that isn't the cleanest or most well maintained place ever), but that's my only real complaint. I'll honestly probably stick to take out going forward, but I will absolutely be back (and frequently).”

“It was a nice family restaurant. We went for lunch. Had catfish plate and chopped beef sandwich with okra. Catfish included baked potato, salad, toast and hush puppies. If you are getting back on I35, it’s easier to stay in the service road, go down through the light, stay on the service road to enter I35 that way. The construction makes it difficult to enter right there by Rumpy’s and it’s a blind merge.Kid-friendliness: A little souvenir area with fun stuff for kids. I’m going to get a couple of those rubber squawking chickens next time I’m in.”

“They were very kind and welcoming immediately as we walked into the door. We got to choose where to sit which is great when you are with a service animal. Our waitress was so sweet and remembered everything we asked for. She even allowed me to speak some Spanish to her and she didn't bawk at me attempting to do so. The food was very good and it came out really fast. I had the flautas and they were hot and fresh. The rice was so good! My husband had the migas and they were good also. We will be coming back again. Thank you so much!”

“I eat here all the time. Today we only had a short lunch at work and I came in with a pocket-full of orders from my coworkers shortly after Hippo opened their doors. The staff was awesome! “We were in town for a show at the casino, we stayed at a motel about a mile from this bbq spot. My goal was to find a hole in the wall BBQ place those are the best ones that have BBQ! I am not a fan of big Corp food industries. I love to support a true hard working American. I'm so glad Google recommended this guy, I read all his reviews and i said this is where I am going to go. Boy boy I do not regret this decision! This is by the best BBQ I have ever had! I live an hr and 43 minutes from jazs bbq and there is not anything good bbq place within in those miles!”

This little town has an excellent Buffet I was a little scared going at 2:00 p.m. however the place had plenty of people inside and the food was really good they even have the Hibachi section where they will cook for you at the buffet for no additional cost which was amazing the quality of their meat and their vegetables were top shelf definitely will be going back here”
