Fantastic service and good food! But had very POOR management. Had a homeless person come into the party room, not once but twice, take off one of his clothes and approach our kids! The manager was very disrespectful about the situation.

Terrific place. If you live close by or are just passing through, it’s worth it. We sat at the bar (bartender was Tommye and she was great!) - great atmosphere. Had burgers - the Hellfire is amazing (aka Hellraiser). Kroots Lime Lite was a great drink as well. Nice getting something a little different. Lots to choose from and worth the stop, trust me! Can’t wait to come back.

I visited Krootz with friends and family as a project for my class. We could not have asked for a better waitress. She was very tentative and had great information regarding the food and beer menu. The owner of the establishment was also wonderful to us as he shared his knowledge of the industry and his brewery. There was not one beer I tried that I did not like. Krootz has an impressive selection and I highly recommend their coffee-inspired beer. It is the best nitro I have ever had!!

I was excited to try this place. Sat at the bar was greeted given a drink and a food menu. Excellent beer descriptions made it easy to decide what to try. Ordered spicy chili wings and onion rings. My friend ordered a burger with kettle chips. My 6 wings came out quickly. I was surprised there were 5 flats and 1 drum..weird. no onion rings. Mentioned we were still waiting for the burger and onion rings. The chili sauce was excellent . Still no burger no one checked on us. Called the bartender over, she checked and the order did not go through. She spoke to a woman who i assumed to be the manager and she seemed annoyed. Put the order back in, should have been a priority. 30 min later we asked for it to go. Never got my onion rings. Cashed out no bill adjustment. The manager spent a lot of time rolling her eyes. The food was good, service horrible.

GREAT FIND ! !Looking for a dinner spot as we were approaching Gainesville and saw a post on FB and Google about Krootz Brewing Co. and Restaurant. The menu online looked fantastic and had a great variety to choose from. Reviews were great - so, had to try this place out. Had a good down home country atmosphere and ample seating. Went early enough so we did not have a wait to get in. The food was fantastic! They even had some karaoke action going on which was very good and entertaining. Our waitress, Carsten, was so friendly and provided Excellent service. Whenever we have a great experience like that I always ask to speak with the Manager or Owner to pass along some Kudos. Well, as it turned out, the owner was there and he just happened to be Carsten's dad! Chad came over and we had a great conversation. Save room for their Brown Betty Pie and Beer Ice Cream! It Is Killer !!! I love this place! Great people, Great Service and Great Food!! We will be back - that is for sure!!

I never want to pass up a local brewery, and upon stumbling across this gem, I was overwhelmingly impressed. On our way back from Circle-N-Dairy, my partner and I decided to stop by Krootz Brewery. We were blown away by the genuine hospitality from not only the owner, but all the wait staff (we had Hunter, who was amazing). They have the largest selection of craft beer, and any other alcoholic combination that you can think of. The food was delicious, and although we live 1.5 hours away (south of Dallas), we will be making the trek back here regularly. If you are reading this, I suggest you stop by, as they check all of the boxes…A+ hospitality, amazing food, and a wide range of food options to accommodate all preferences. I only write reviews of places that are 5-star, and this is no exception. Great work on an amazing establishment.
Truly the best brewery experience I’ve had in ages. Breweries are my thing, so I visit several a month. Wish I’d found this one sooner! From the moment I walked in til the moment I left with two different beer selections, I was smiling like a goofball. The food blew me away! The pastrami was out of this world. The bacon jam on my burger was next-level, & the onion rings were the best I’ve literally EVER HAD! The staff were unfailingly friendly & warm. One of the beers is made with coffee! I hate coffee. Truly hate it. But I tried it anyway & brought home a huge crowler of it! I did a flight of beers that didn’t include the coffee-rita, but found a favorite & brought that home too! We were made to feel like friends….which cant be overstated. Only down side was having to head home from our comfy spot! Krootz’s is my new happy place!
