The owner of this establishment is not a nice man. He’s an online troll and leaves bad reviews on local companies’ YELP because someone hurt his feelings on Facebook. Hopefully this review sways you and you go to a restaurant a bit more deserving of your money. There are plenty of fine downtown establishments that are well deserving of your business, the patio is not one of them ??

This restaurant has IMPECCABLE service. I called to place an order for delivery, the woman who picked up explained they have third party delivery services separate from the restaurant. She referred me to the restaurants website so I could schedule my order for delivery. I place my order 5 minutes later, and accidentally requested pickup instead of delivery after I had already paid for the order. I try to reverse my mistake, but I immediately get a phone call from the same woman verifying that I meant to choose pickup. When I told her it was a mistake and that I'd re-do the order, she kindly and very generously offered to drop off the order for us at no extra cost. Not only did they go the extra mile, but the pizza tasted fantastic! Will absolutely be purchasing from this restaurant again.

Easily 5 stars. The Patio Downtown takes pride in their food! Ricky absolutely kills it in the kitchen and makes everything homemade. I suggest trying the salsa, wings, and pizza. I love food and this is seriously great food. Laura handles the front of the house flawlessly and provides excellent service. If you pass through or live in Gainesville the Patio Downtown should be your priority. Great job you two and great restaurant!
