Heard about this place and had to taste it...maaaannnn! Best homemade food I think I've ever had at a restaurant. You know its good when you pull up and there is a line before it's even open. We had the baked chicken and oxtails. Also, tried a few sides- cabbage,Mac and cheese, okra with sausage. We loved that its family owned..it really felt like we were in their kitchen at home eating,conversing and having a good time. You guys have a gem on your hands! We'll forgive the fact that you're not COWBOYS fans since the food was soo good!🤣ðŸ¤

This is THE SPOT FOR ALL THINGS SOUL FOOD! It feels like Sunday dinner at grandma's house! We ate here and then had to bring the WHOLE FAMILY and we ate plus took plates to go! 1000% recommend.. try everything!

A little hole in the wall place with made fresh everyday, delicious soul food! Come early (they open at 11ish) because when it's gone it's gone. They close when it's all gone, about 3pm.

I only eat at this place once a year! It’s a special trip me and my aunt make. Omg this place has the best food. And the cook is especially sweet. All the employees are just warm inviting people. It’s a lot of food so go hungry. You won’t be disappointed. The meatloaf is my absolute favorite. I give them 10 stars *****

Great food from Great people. They give you enough in one container to make 2 or 3 meals out of it. I had the meat loaf and it was awesome! I'd definitely recommend getting green beans as a side.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The food is "home cooked" with love. The portions served is enough for 2 meals for me. The fried pork chops are moist and tender, the cabbage, greens, and Mac & Cheese are 2nd to none. The price for the "we are family" experience is worth it.

I am new in town and was referred by my Airbnb hostess because I needed some home cooking. Their food is delicious and they hooked me up with a bountiful feast. It was right at the end of their closing day but they took me in just like I was one of their family I greatly appreciate that small town feel
