We had a great time at East Beach yesterday. We got water bottles and used the public restrooms upstairs in the cantina. Then we enjoyed the beach with rented chairs, an umbrella, ice cold drinks, and decent food bought at the rental truck on the beach. The owner was very nice and we will be sure to return to this beach.

Great beach with moderate amount of people. Only thing is that the bathroom and toilet can be very nasty. Also I did not know they shut off water and close bathroom at a certain time :(

The sand is not compacted enough & may make you stuck. There’s only porta potties. We went for a summer soccer tournament & was a one time no re-entry $15 cost for parking. RIDICULOUS!

Nice sandy beach. The rest rooms are a convenience. $15 to park is not bad for the amenities.
Not at all impressive. They charge $15 to enter.There's no parking lot. The road leading to it is under water in places. Lots of seaweed and other debris. If you want nice beaches Galveston isn't your best choice.

I like this place very much. I went there twice. I spent my new year holiday there in the end of 2019. You can even park your car on the beach close to the water. It’s peaceful.
