I love this place. Shawn had been my waiter the last 2 times, and he is awesome. Both of my dates talked it up with him. He's super friendly and knows the island well. Great job ??Kid-friendliness: You can eat at street level if you have a stroller, or to the back near the waterfall.Parking: There is paid street parking along The Strand, and there are several paid lots as well.Wheelchair accessibility: Street level seating offers several picnic style benches to pull up to from the side of each bench.

Great local bar with an awesome staff! Only had chips n salsa, but the menu looked good. Sat at the bar for a few drinks, J had great picks for tap beers and made our new favorite Mexican water drink! B was a hot mess, Fiesty, but friendly if you stayed on the good side. Definitely will be back!

Felt like they didn’t want to serve a black person. I came because this place had great reviews. The place was not busy but I still waited for 20 minutes without a waitress even offering me a glass of water. however, she served the next table multiple times, without even looking in my direction.

Food was super tasty! We tried the Elote, street tacos, and burrito bowl (elote and tacos were our favorite). It was pretty busy but pretty cool atmosphere right downtown and outside seating.

We did a little stop by and sat outside after shopping on the Strand to have some appetizers and get some drinks (adult and kids). It took a moment for the server to come greet us, but we ordered all at once, and everything came out pretty quickly. The drinks are great and you can take them togo and drink on the Strand. I got an Ocean Water which was a frozen Rum drink and it was delicious! Their queso and chips appetizer is always really great, it's a good size for about 3 or 4 people, about 8 oz of cheese, and is topped with avocado.

Great place to lounge outdoors after a long day at the beach. You can even bring your pups and they will get treated like royalty. The food was pretty good but a bit expensive for what you get but I guess it's just Galveston prices. The atmosphere is amazing you get a great view of downtown Galveston and you get to people-watch as well. The service was also amazing and we were very grateful for how they treated us. If you are looking for a great place for fun, tacos and drinks.

The loaded queso is sooo good as is the drink selection. My favorite tacos are the fried chicken tacos, pork verde tacos and the fried avocado tacos. MAJOR drawback is the service. Horrible, non-existent. I'd go so much more often for the great, outdoor ambiance if it wasn't for that.

I ordered nachos I think they should not put lettuce on nachos and put cheese on bottom or separate because they were soggy. I ended up with soggy nachos. The grape drink was good.

Brechachos might have become our default precruise stop(security is much less annyoing after some margaritas.)The prices are a little high, but not out of place on the Strand. The tacos though are creative and full of flavor, the same thing can be said of the margaritas. We started with some queso and speciality margaritas as we tried to get into vacation mode. The water fountain and outdoor setting quickly put us in vacation mode, the margaritas were like NOS getting us there even quicker. Then came the tacos with some traditional and fusion choices available we didn't find a bad taco. Look at the photos, my review can't explain it any better.
Stopped in with my brother and two nephews.Live music, good eats, sunshine and a cool breeze. What more could you need?Good service was part of the menu.

The prices were cheap so I wanted to try several of the interesting taco choices, but my friend said you will only be able to eat one, and he was right. I had the Fresco Taco. It was fabulous. Maybe I couldn't finish it because we pigged out on the best Queso with taco meat added. Anyway, the food was great, the waitresses were friendly and attentive and the atmosphere was like a neighborhood hangout right on the historical Strand. They also have live bands, Trivia days and are dog friendly. BTW, the patio has great photo ops by the Waterwall and colorful graffiti.

This patio atmosphere and craft beers are a go to for after work or day off. The Brewnachos are my favorite.

We travel the country full time and always look for unique Mexican restaurants. Always start with a house margarita! The queso dip was very good. Loved the korean bbq pulled pork. I love chorizo so got the breakfast taco but it was inly so-so cuz the chorizo got list in everything else. Mango shrimp taco was very good. The excellent waitress ran us down a block away because I left my credit card! Good karma!

We stumbled upon this place purely by accident, but what a find. The atmosphere is perfect, the tacos FANTASTIC, and they have over 50 beers on tap (almost all from Texas!). We also happened to show up while they were doing live trivia. My husband, kids, and I all had a great time! Can't wait to go back on our next visit.
