I love the nature vibes, and the food was pretty good for the price. Could have more choices of food.

I ordered the Cajun NY steak and it was very sinewy and not even decent quality steak. The atmosphere was great though. The bartender was quick and attentive.

I enjoyed a late dinner at Cafe in the Park and it was more than I expected. For sure coming back. I just wanted something light after driving from Houston. My choice was avocados filled with shrimp grilled tomatoes and a lobster bisque. Delicious!

My wife and I have been eating at this restaurant for 19years. I pains me to see how the service has just gone down. The food is always good, the atmosphere is still the same cute cafe but the service is just down right bad. I really try to not be over critical but there definitely needs to be improvement.Vegetarian options: Fruit and salad. Not much of a verity.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes

Nice enough.Thanksgiving dinner featured some great offerings, but strange was;1) turkey and dressing were terrible, tasteless bird and gooey, nearly flavorless bread dressing.2) lack of sneeze guards over several serving tables including the charciterie/cheeses, shrimp, samon dishes.3) All the 'plantings' in 'The Park' were plastic. And dusty. At Moody Gardens.?Staff were great, offerings diverse and mostly high quality. Salads were top notch. At their prices, ALL should be top-notch.

Chose to stay in and have dinner at the cute Cafe in the Park. Upon arrival, the hostess had to scramble to find menus as they were out. When she found some, she brought us to a table that was in the process of being cleaned…we waited and watched it being cleaned even though there were other tables ready nearby. We waited about 10 minutes before our server came and took our drink order; 15 minutes for him to come back and take our food order, and then 30 minutes before our food arrived. There were only 3 in our party. The food was alright; it definitely wasn’t worth the wait or price. We won’t be back.

If you want to eat eat preheated food this is the place for you. However, I am sure you can do a better job at home.Fish and Chips was a joke. Cold center, soggy, with flavorless batter. The Southern Burger sounds like a good concept. The precooked patty reheated was dry and flavorless. The fried green tomatoes was mushy mess.Condiments were the only flavor you will find on the table. However, expect the bottles to be old and have a layer of crusty sauce inside the bottles. Can't be hard on the servers they didn't prepare the food. A general honest opinion when asked for a recommendation would be appreciated.

This is a Hotel Restaurant made to look like an outdoor courtyard; the trees and artwork are beautiful; but the service was lacking...The server didn't put my plate in front of me; he dropped it off in front of an empty place setting; and my omelette was flavorless and needed to be seasoned. Not entirely horrible but a pricey disappointment.Dietary restrictions: *No* Gluten-Free Pancake, Waffle, or French Toast Options Available

Comfortable atmosphere and nice to have a location on-site. Downside - it's expensive, especially for breakfast. Service was okay (3 stars at best), but our waiter was very nice, so 5 stars for him.We only went for dinner our first day there but went elsewhere for the duration of our stay.Good kids menu that was comprised of all the essential meals kids eat (grilled cheese, chicken tenders, etc) ? ?

So this seemed to be a happening place and good choice of foods. The items we did get were very tasty. We did have a large group so it probably contributed to our faux pa. I ordered the fish and chips and after waiting a half hour and everybody else got their food I decided to cancel my entree as by this time some of our party was starting to leave! So the service was a bit slow. So to my surprise when I got the check for what we did receive, there was a gratuity charge of 20%!! Now I'm all about 20% gratuity when the service is excellent but this service did not warrant a 20% gratuity! I brought this up with the management and my bill was quickly adjusted.

We visited this cafe for lunch on vacation from the Dallas area. Even for a lunch, it was pretty dead and there were only two other parties dining. There was a typo on the menu for the pizza options of either 12" or 16'. My son ordered the 12" pizza, and had to struggle barely eating half of it. The seasoning in the sauce/cheese was incredibly potent and not "pizza like", but we couldn't figure out what the strange seasoning was. My husband couldn't eat his club sandwich from the bread giving him GERD. The rest of our meals weren't really anything special, either. Overall, it was kind of reminiscent of a glorified Chili's.
