Stopped to get an order to go. Got home And fish was over fried and tough. Coleslaw had no taste and the green beans were horrible. There were no napkins or silverware put in the to go bag. Won’t be eating here again.

Second time I've ordered catfish basket with red beans/rice Take out No fork/spoon. Catfish has no taste ( slap ya Moma) or something ? Needs seasoning Hush puppies (2) but real small Service is always good but it's lunch and never have fried fish or shrimp ready. Got to Waite 15-20 mins each time. If it's 2:30 I can understand but 12 noon not good

Shrimp are BIG! (be nice), heres my story- a couple of years ago, once a week I'd go their Gessner off 59. I've learned it is a franchise - the owner (ex UT football player) and I'm so happy it's not far for me now. And at this location, the owners, staff or cooks are not Cajun. I don't order anything off the menu, I'm not sett'in myself-up by poor results so I'll just sticking to the shrimp. It's always perfect! And I've got a picture to prove it's true! love y'all, now let's eat good food!

Very good food, service was great too. Only reason it didn't get 5 stars was because it did take just a bit to get our food and it seemed like everyone else waited a good 30 minutes as well. Very minor problem though. Extremely good food and well priced!

My boyfriend I ate here while visiting Galveston and loved every bite. We shared the ShrimpCatfish platter and got macaroni on the side. Delicious. Priced well. Clean.

great food and nice cashier! Everything was beyond delicious, and it was super clean. The bathrooms were spotless! Shrimp tacos were executed very beautifully. Cashier explain and help guide through the menu and recommended items that we will be trying next time!

The 20 peice family meal fed 5 of us for a few days while on vacation at the beach. Double fries for sides with a couple extra sides of hushpuppies. The filets were all decent size. We were not disappointed & will be stopping by this gem the next time we are in Galveston for sure- delicous!!!

WOW!!!In Galveston you must come here for catfish/Shrimp !!This place started with just a food truck now they have locations all over ..the shrimp batter is perfect with lots of flavor .. shrimp are large .. the sauce is freaking amazing !! Love it !!You will not leave hungry!!
Damn good fried shrimp with amazing cocktail sauce. While in Galveston I was having a hankering for some shrimp and found the perfect place. Shrimp is fresh, the breading is not overwhelming so it's all just right. Love it!!!

We had the boudain egg rolls, they were delicious. I had the shrimp n grits which was probably the best lunch I had the 3 days here and she had the 3 tacos, 2 fish 1 shrimp, she said fish was better but they were both good and would get then again.

Trying to check out some new catfish places and decided to stop by while in the area. The young lady at the counter was very nice and took my order for a catfish plate with no issue. I was going to eat there or on the Seawall but decided to just go home instead. Well...I made it back home to Seabrook, got all comfy and opened my bag to throw down on some catfish. The first photo is my "catfish" plate and the second photo sums up my reaction. I can tell you truthfully that the catfish definitely has a shrimpy taste to it?Am I mad that I got shrimped? Not really. Will I be back to try the CATFISH catfish instead of the shrimp catfish? Absolutely not. To be honest, everything was bland and the dirty rice was the worst part, not good at all. This type of food is supposed to be seasoned and have some flavor. Just my opinion though so try it for yourself if you're interested, maybe you might get the catfish catfish.

Pulled up to the restaurant this evening about 817pm and lobby lights were out buy door was open. Online says closes at 9pm but the employee told me they were closed. Disappointed after seeing the good reviews. Lock the door if your closed and change the time online. Smh
