Not open on Sunday. Made the drive because it shows open until 7pm. Need to fix the operating hours.

The place smells very bad. The tables are dirty and sticky and no one cleans themAlso a single bathroom for men and women.

La Mariachi

Disappointment as soon as they opened, I was one of their first clients and today I felt bad because I felt that since they got clients, now they treat people badly, in short, they have free advertising and now I think I will never go back to that place after a hard day, I thought I would enjoy my favorite dish and it was not possible I felt bad the treatment was very bad mariachi friends do not return to this place they do not treat people well ☹️ zero do not buy here

Food was good and environment was unique. You kind of serve yourself except for the food which is fine but a bit different. Hopefully they will be around for a while. I think they have done a great job and look forward to going back.

Food was ok, tables needed to be wiped down, and the floors had trash all over them.

Holy guacamole! The guacamole is absolutely delicious. So FANTASTIC!! The horchata is the best I have ever drank with a light spice flavor. The Quesabirria from the SPECIALTIES section of the menu are so tasty, a slow cooked pulled beef that when served look like 3 tacos served with a cup of warm consome dipping broth, onions, lime chunks and cilantro. Ordered on the owner's recommendation, the Gordita with chicharron con carne was hot off the grill and fantastic! It was filled with shredded, slow cooked pork meat and was the largest gordita that I have ever seen. It was the best gordita that I ever eaten. There was an option available for a spicy sauce, but I chose the milder red suace option on the meat. I added a little extra green salsa on some bites for additional flavors of old Mexico. I'll be going back for more. Everything has authentic Mexican flavor and is served hot and fresh from the kitchen. I could taste the love in every bite and in every sip. I am a local Galvestonian. Born a few blocks away from this restaurant and with Mexican heritage. The owner explained to me that he used to prepare and sell street tacos in Mexico City, Mexico. His mission is to serve authentic Mexican food. It looks to me like he is accomplishing his mission.Parking: I parked directly in front of the restaurant conveniently for free.
