I had an amazing dining experience at Coastal Grill in Galveston! The atmosphere is welcoming, with a laid-back yet elegant vibe that’s perfect for a coastal meal. I decided to try the grilled chicken, and it did not disappoint. The chicken was perfectly cooked, tender, and full of flavor. It was paired beautifully with a side of sweet potato fries, which were crispy on the outside and soft and flavorful on the inside—just the right balance! The service was friendly and attentive, and I couldn’t have asked for a better meal. Definitely a spot I’ll be returning to.

Wheelchair accessibility: There was a gentleman in a wheelchair dining in while I was there. This establishment is wheel chair friendly.

Got it to-go to enjoy across the street at Naked Iguana Brewery (which NIB encourages). They ran our order, for a full family, over to NIB within 10 minutes - fast! Fair seafood prices, which aren't necessarily cheap, but at least they're large portions. Can't speak to the restaurant's dine-in experience.
Kid-friendliness: Easiest for us to get one adult meal to split, plus a spare side.

Honestly, we thought walking on it was expensive .... For the ordering at the counter..the portions. .. but once our meal arrived. It was delicious!!! By far the best food we have had eating out in a very long time, very much worth it. Everywhere is expensive so may as well be something that we really enjoy!

We went to Coastal Grill on The Strand. The food was awesome, the staff was friendly and very helpful. The prices where unexpected for the quality and quantity of what you got!! I highly recommend you try it for yourself!

The interior is kind of strange, but the service and food is absolutely top-notch, consistent and absolutely delicious. I go here quite a lot with friends and I’m local. You’ll love it.
