2nd time here, when i came the first time i had a great experience, tonight however, there is ONE employee and SHE is complaining about having to do her job that SHE applied for. After we made our food order about 10 min after new customers walked in and sat at the bar and SHE expressed to them that SHE was the only empoyee on the clock and their drink orders were priority over our food order, when our food was finally ready SHE came and threw our food down on the table and rolled her eyes and walked off. I'm disappointed and think a shift lead/manager should be on shift with HER as she is breaking empty bottles throwing them as SHE is upset at everything/everyone!!!

Their sandwiches with the French dip are absolutely phenomenal. Don’t think it’s officially on the menu but it should. Theresa (our bartender) makes the best sandwiches in Galveston. Do yourself a favor and stop at the Corner Pocket. Great food and service.
Fantastic little neighborhood bar. Drinks were great, beer's were cold. Bartender HOBBS was / is really cool & did great at compromising on my drinks. And can't beat the prices. Liked the Atmosphere. Will definitely recommend this place . Even those it's a small place its got big personality. Had a great time wished i could have stayed longer. Will be back again someday.

This place has been renovated since we were last in Galveston. Very nice ! The beers were cold and the bartender was great ! She made us some of the best popcorn I have ever had.
