Their sandwiches with the French dip are absolutely phenomenal. Don’t think it’s officially on the menu but it should. Theresa (our bartender) makes the best sandwiches in Galveston. Do yourself a favor and stop at the Corner Pocket. Great food and service.

Fantastic little neighborhood bar. Drinks were great, beer's were cold. Bartender HOBBS was / is really cool & did great at compromising on my drinks. And can't beat the prices. Liked the Atmosphere. Will definitely recommend this place . Even those it's a small place its got big personality. Had a great time wished i could have stayed longer. Will be back again someday.

This place has been renovated since we were last in Galveston. Very nice ! The beers were cold and the bartender was great ! She made us some of the best popcorn I have ever had.

I was in there with my mom, she does not speak any English, I was having a hard time translating so I was using Google translate. The manager( I believe her name is missy) whom at the time was arguing with her husband or boyfriend at the time came over to me and told my mom if she can't understand English we can leave.
